Next Summer I am going to Germany with my mother, grandma, and my aunt for 10 days! Plus we're going to Austria for 3 days to see the place where they filmed The Sound of Music. The best part of this trip is that I get to go with my grandma who is a native German! I'm so excited I get this chance to see Germany with her! The sad thing is my Grandma will probably not help me learn German. My mom and Aunt took it in high school, but she never helped them. That's just how she is. >.>

Would anyone be willing to help me learn basic German?

I'd love to help you Yami but since I'm learning the basics myself I'm afraid I wouldn't be any help for you So to say 'Ich habe einfach keine Ahnug' about German XD okay maybe I know something. lol. Hopefully some of our lovies can help you !

Yeah it's the more casual way . I could've actually say Sie XD You'll probably notice German people call each other like miss, mister etc. very long before starting to call just you by your first name^^
