My new senior project idea (which has been approved) will be used by an actual customer.

I want to make an Invoice desktop application (invoice system that uses a database). I want to code this in Java and use SQlite.

I never made a desktop application before so I am really not sure how to start or what I need to download/use. Any step by step things I should follow? Advice?

I need to have something done by a week this Tuesday and I have literally no idea how to start.

Also, does anyone know if there is an actual non firefox download of SQlite besides the command prompt looking version?
