| Hey all, I seem to use this place a lot. Glad to see it is useful, right? Alright, so I will be (hopefully) presenting at a conference at the end of October. I need to send in my abstract by the end of this month, but I'd love to have a few people read it, first. It's only 101 words (the length of a role-playing post, ironic), so ... that hopefully won't be too long for anyone to take a few minutes to read, think about, and comment. The maximum for the abstract is 150 words, so I have a little room to expand.
Here's the abstract. It basically discusses the results of the data collection for my master's thesis thus far. I guess the title will likely be: "Report of Excavations of Structure E-3 at Group E, Xunantunich."
The Mopan Valley Preclassic Project conducts investigations at Group E in order to understand the development of political authority during the Preclassic period in the Mopan River Valley. Excavations at Structure E-3 during the 2012 and 2009 field seasons investigated a period of reoccupation during the Late Classic with evidence of Postclassic use. Excavations at Structure E-3 also further investigated the form, function, and chronology of the structure in order to further understand Group E's role in Xunantunich. Associated with this period of re-occupation is limited construction, craft production, and ritual activity in several areas of the site, including Structure E-3. |

| It looks good to me! I wish I knew more of what you were talking about, but the spelling/grammar looks correct, and it does sound interesting ^^ I wish I had more to say or more you could expand on, but again it's foreign to me. |

| Well, this goes along the same lines, because it is for the same conference.
Does anyone know how to change the background of specific slides in PowerPoint? I wanted to change the background to mark a transition in topic, but it changes all the slides. |

| I'm not sure if this is what you meant but...
Right-click the specific slide you want to edit, choose 'edit background' and then edit the slide background. It should edit only the specific slide
I hope I was some help to you XD! |
