I'm a little bit nervous about making threads like this. I have social anxiety, and though it isn't nearly as bad online, it can still rear its ugly head once in a while. So, here I go ..

My name is Monica. I first got into Sailor Moon back when I was a kid, and my favorite Sailor was Sailor Mercury. After it stopped airing on TV, I just sorta forgot about it. Once in a while I would get caught up in all the online sites with information on the characters. I always found it really interesting, however I figured that Sailor Moon wouldn't age well so I never picked the show back up. And honestly, I was right. The dub certainly didn't age well. The sub, on the other hand ..

I started watching the sub for the first time recently, and I've been loving it. So far I've watched the original, R, R movie, and am currently speeding my way through S. I've found that my favorite Sailor is no longer Mercury - that would have to go to Jupiter or Venus. I've had a lot of fun, and found a lot of awesome SM fan sites such as this one.

And if you're curious as to what sparked my sudden interest, it'd have to be the announcement of the new Sailor Moon anime that's coming out.

Hello there, Monica! That was a fine intro! I know that these things always feel odd to me as well. It is like you suddenly have to make a speech for yourself and you are not sure what is important, too random, silly or of interest. Heh. I always say go for whatever first comes to mind.
