Okay, this is a bit of an OOC section right here, so bear with me for a little bit. I'd like for this to be a private RP, or One-on-One, if only because I can't be on enough to keep up with multiple people at the moment.

What I'd like to do is something set in a slightly AU Black Moon arc, centered around my OC Sailor Nemesis and Saphir/Sapphire. She is admittedly a little messed up due to years of direct manipulation from Wise Man, but believe it or not, she does have good intentions at heart (for some), even if she's willing to do not-so-good things to do it.

On that, I'd like to note that while she does indeed fancy Saphir/Sapphire, he is rather oblivious because of the infatuation with Emeraude - something which frustrates Obsidian to no end as Emeraude probably wouldn't even give him the time of day were he not the prince. Given the opportunity, yes, she might even kill Emeraude.

Obsidian has some issues of her own outside of the years of mental manipulation, though. Because her senshi crystal isn't actually for Nemesis, but was rather 'poisoned' into it, she has troubles with energy distribution in the past couple of years and requires regular treatment at the hands of the clan alchemist and healer - Saphir/Sapphire - in order to keep it from internally imploding from too much concentration.

And yes, while this RP has the potential to be very dark, I consider emotionally engaging storylines to be very fun indeed.

Now that I've gotten this wall of text out of the way, shall we start? ^_^"

With the Nemesis Crystals removed - both earrings and the pendant now resting in a bowl out of reach - the soft leather of gloved hands gently moved along the dark haired warrior's back, lightly engaging different pressure points as the strands of crystals wrapped around his gloves drew out excess. Slowly, bit by bit, the near blinding pain began to lessen and ease away.

The treatment was far too familiar to the both of them. But she was far too useful as the royal family's dog to let her powers implode on her. It was due to Wise Man's insistence that their eldest Prince allowed the younger to deviate from his other occupations to develop healing techniques, the lack of which would've probably killed her years ago.

Obsidian's indigo eyes bore a hole through the wall in front of her, strong fingers gripping the edge of the table in silent frustration. But she would endure the wait. Wise Man's council had always been correct in the end.

Sapphire could feel the excess pockets of energy slowly draining from Obsidian and knew that it must have been causing her great pain again though she bore it wordlessly. So far he had not had any success in finding a more permanent cure but at least the treatments seemed effective.

For a second his thoughts wandered to his brother and the Nemesis crystal which had been steadily growing in power as planned. Whe he was done here he would have to go and check the readings again, to make sure the energy was balanced throughout the crystal.

He brought his thoughts back and increased his focus as a particularly troublesome building up energy resisted his efforts but soon it too came free, absorbed into the crystals at his wrist. There, that should be the last of it. he thought to himself.

Taking his hands from Obsidina's back he asked, "How do you feel now?", his dark blue eyes filled with genuine concern for their warrior.

The shock soldier's indigo gaze remained on the far wall as Sapphire worked, his quiet nature lending to methodological and otherwise silent progress. Still, as he slowly worked the tumerous knots loose, the all too familiar and piercing ache was dissipating. Obsidian straightened fully when he withdrew, though, casting the younger prince a guarded glance. Slipping behind her defenses seemed to be a difficult task indeed, for most. But her walls proved inadequacy, with some.

"Better," she said softly, standing now. The concern that edged his voice was somewhat surprising, however. Obsidian inclined her head to him after a moment. "... What of yourself, my liege?"

Sapphire nodded, satisfied that the treatment was a success. “That’s good.”, he said simply. By the very nature of his personality, the younger Nemesis prince did not like to see someone in pain, but many sacrifices must be made for their mission. So much had been sacrificed already for their goal. Like having to deal with Wiseman., he thought with distaste. It simply had to be accepted. At least unless a more permanent cure for Obsidian’s energy disbursement difficulties could be found.

His eyes widened very slightly at the question posed to him, surprised that someone would think to ask him that. Few knew about his past health issues though there had been no issues for some time. And though sometimes the treatments could be tiring, Sapphire never let that show to anyone, even to Nii-san with whom he shared nearly everything. “I am well. Thank you.”, he said nodding assurance.

Picking up the tray holding the Nemesis earrings he held then out to her, his mind already turning to the list of things needing to be done now that the treatment was over. “If the knots come back, come and find me. If I am not here I’ll be in the control room.”

It wasn’t until Obsidian had left the room that he finally let fatigue wash over him, leaning on the counter as he removed the crystals and set them in their trays. He rubbed tiredly at his eyes for a second and then pushed off the counter, heading for the control room. There was still so much yet to be done.

If nothing else, his response was well received. "I hope that it remains as such," the shock soldier said, her voice soft. She straightened, though, as she accepted the earrings that heightened her abilities once more. The dark haired woman nodded in acknowledgement of his final words, however. "Yes, my liege," the young woman murmured, tucking one arm behind her back as the other folded across her stomach, offering a flowing bow.

She only straightened in the same motion that allowed her to back out of his alchemy room, though hearing the sigh on the other side of the door when it clicked shut. Her hand rested against the door frame for a moment, head bowed, before turning.

Sapphire first made his way to the incubation tube where his newest droid creation was ready to be deployed. He had named it Akumuda and had spent much time amplifying its power to induce energy draining trance-like sleep. It was perhaps not the most blatant aggressive attack strategy, but often it was strategy and planning that won over brute force anyway.

Satisfied that all was going as it should he made his way to the control room. The main chamber was chilly and lit only by ambint light and by the heart of the crystal. He could see Diamond at the far end gazing at a video projection taken during their invasion of Crystal TOkyo. Sapphire knew without seeing what or rather who the projection displayed.

More and more often his older brother gazed at that image with an unimaginable look of hunger in his eyes. Nii-san...please remember that we are at war and she is an enemy. We're all counting on you., he thought to himself but said nothing about it.

"Good evening Nii-san.", he said as he stepped up to the control panel, a hidden panel in the floor that Sapphire signalled with a wave if his hand. It began to rise up giving him access to the chip and to data displays. "I have a new droid ready." he said, gazing up at his brother.


Diamond gazed again upon Serenity, the beautiful woman with the reproachful eyes, eyes that looked on him as if he were an inhuman monster. "One day those eyes will belong to me...", he said softly to himself looking up as Sapphire entered pulling him from his thoughts.

It was nothing less than a fixation. The prince's indigo gaze had already memorized every feature of the Neo Queen's hologram, yet he continued to stare through it every day, sometimes for hours on end. Diamond slowly swirled the rich wine in his glass as his thoughts wandered, easily picturing the noose around Endymion's throat. A noose that slowly tightened, each attack led by Obsidian taking them one step closer to the throne of Earth.

Only then would he be a true king - and with such a beautiful woman at his side. His muttered thoughts escaped his lips before he realized it, before the sound of heels on the dark floor caught his attention. The Crown Prince shifted in his sitte, before resting the wineglass against the armrest as he saw his brother. "... Good evening, Sapphire. How comes your newest project?" Diamond queried coolly, his tone a strange mixture of listlessness and unrest.

Sapphire caught the restless tone in his brother’s voice. It seemed the longer he gazed on that image of Serenity the more restless and agitated he became. Diamond wasn’t even aware of the way Esmeraude looked at him sometimes, a fact Sapphire found bothered him somewhat, though he refused to give any thoughts in that direction even a moment’s consideration.

“It is nearing completion Nii-san. And by these readings it looks like we will be ready for the dark gate right on schedule. It really is within our grasp Nii-san.” His dark blue eyes became thoughtful, thinking of all the dreams and aspirations they had shared growing up. To think that they really were so close was almost unbelievable.

A pensive look crossed Sapphire’s face as his eyes happened upon the hologram once more. Truly he couldn’t see the attraction her image held. Those eyes looking down from a place of infinite privilege upon their once poor clan were more cause for anger than adoration. Knowing they were alone in the room at least for now, he let hid thoughts show. “What do you see in her Nii-san? What makes her so special?”

The Crown Prince gave a small nod of approval and acknowledgement both when Sapphire confirmed his thoughts, allowing the younger prince a small smile. "Good. The sooner it is executed ... the sooner we will leave this damned planet," he said softly, a faint hiss of frustration clinging to his tone. But frusteration that was measured, knowing that the tide would soon turn.

He chuckled, though, at Sapphire's question. Rather than giving a direct answer, though, he just shook his head. The Crown Prince proceeded to comb his fingers through his wavy white locks, allowing them to languidly fall back in place as he eyed his brother from behind his hand. "What I see, Sapphire, is eternity."

Eternity of what, however, he didn't say. She was beautiful, yes. But that wasn't all. It never would be.

"Eternity...", Sapphire repeated to himself slowly, looking at the hologram with soft blue pensive eyes, though it was clear he still didn't understand. His thoughts suddenly slipped back to remembrances of earlier days, something he seemed to think about more often lately, especially that day they found the flower. After that, that tiny half wilted flower had become a symbol of hope and a promise too, that one day they would see a way off of this dead planet.

Sapphire hadn't given much thought to what he would do once they took the Earth, though he knew one of the first things would be to go see a garden. True, it would be possible to go secretly to Earth and see their gardens now, and not be discovered. But to walk in a beautiful place like that as a fugitive, when it should be their right was unthinkable. No, Sapphire would wait. It was only a matter of time as long as they stuck to their carefully designed plan.

Sapphire blinked, realizing he'd been temporarily lost in thought, frivolous thoughts that wouldn't get them any closer to winning. I must be tired to have let my thoughts wander like that., he thought rather abashedly. His eyes took on a harder edge as he returned his gaze to the control panel for a moment. "I hear Obsidian's last mission was a success. She is doing quite well yes?", he asked, his fingers tapping controls that he knew by rote without even looking.

His brother's musing seemed to escape Diamond's already preoccupied mind, the Crown Prince's indigo gaze once more trailing the slender physique of the Neo Queen. But his attention returned to his younger brother when Sapphire spoke once more, this time seeming more attentive. Diamond proceeded to incline his head in acknowledgement, but not satisfaction. "She is adequate enough. One must admit that her ... issues ... place significant delay in our plan, after all," the Crown Prince pointed out dubiously, the long-term suspicion of Obsidian being defective something that seemed all the more likely with the past year.

Especially since the amount of needed treatment seemed to have doubled. Their shock soldier was far weaker than she seemed, whether or not she wished to admit it. Of course, the consideration that Wiseman extended took it's own toll. But such was necessary. It wouldn't do to have a traitor from within.


Although Sapphire had just finished his work, her up-and-coming task loomed before her. The need to continue training was essential to her survival. And the efficiency of which she went through her physical techniques flew. But that wouldn't be enough - not against an entire squad of senshi. Non-defective senshi, at that.

Obsidian's white-bleached hair, lightened by the transformation of Sailor Nemesis, clung to the sides of her face, a sheen of sweat soaking through her fuku as she worked. The number of missions left before she would make the acquaintance of King Endymion was sharply declining. And the accelerated risk that grew with them was leveling out to some degree. Her time to compensate for faults was running short.

Sapphire nodded thoughtfully, his eyes narrowing a little in frustration as his brother cut to the heart of the matter concerning Obsidian. It was one of few problems that Sapphire had not yet been able to figure out a way to bypass, and he didn’t like unsolved puzzles.

There were very few things the navy haired family alchemist couldn’t figure out, and those he couldn’t, especially those that caused delays, were a frustrating bane that his mind wanted to worry away at like a stray thread. Clearly there was something fundamentally wrong with the way Obsidian’s body handled the energy, but even such a flaw could certainly be fixed? But despite everything the treatments still were needed more and more often, growing at possibly an exponential rate.

“Yes”, he admitted, “though I fault myself somewhat for not being able to come up with a more permanent solution. I think she will suffice for our purposes though. The time is very close at hand.” What he left unsaid, and what no one could spare a minute even to think on in this time of war, was whether or not their shock soldier would live beyond her usefulness.

Rubeus strode through the hallways, the nearly ever=permanent smirk firmly in place. Koan was looking for him, and he didn’t want to be found just yet. He tolerated the woman fawning over him only as far as he needed her but his patience often wore thin too quickly. Love was a lie made up by those who were too weak to stand alone, and weakness disgusted him.

So he found himself striding by the training room, one of the last places Koan would ever be seen voluntarily. He chuckled to himself at the thought. But sounds from within caused him to look. A blur of shock white hair moving past the door told him who was inside. Ah yes, Sailor Nemesis was hard at work again. He took at least some credit, and not a little pride in how strong she had become over the years, but that infernal weakness of hers was problematic. Still, she was quite receptive to his particular style of motivation, maybe even more-so than those stubborn sisters. Now if only they could procure the Rabbit, the Prince would have no choice but to admit that Rubeus was the natural choice to lead.

Striding in silently he stood in the far corner unnoticed as she executed another near flawless maneuver, ending with her practice target split in half in the ground. Physically het techniques were some of the best, a fact that Rubeus also took some credit for. As the target clunked to thr ground shattered he clapped his hands, announcing his presence to her.

“Very well done Nemesis. Nice execution and speed.”, he said, slowly walking closed, arms folded. A thin smile played upon his lips as he regarded the sweat-soaked senshi. “But do you really think it will be enough to take out Endymion? And what of your dreams?”, he asked, feigning a caring and concerned look. “Do you really think it will be enough for him?”

The Crown Prince merely shook his head. "You, Sapphire, are hardly the one at fault. Nothing comes to mind, not just in our own history, but in others' as well, of a defective senshi ... perhaps we have the ... fortune," Diamond finally decided, although his voice seemed to curl at the word, "of having the first unique case of this. It would certainly line up with the rest of our life, don't you suppose?" the white haired man suggested, raising a brow at Sapphire as he spoke.

Finally, he just inclined his head. "Do not trouble yourself too greatly, brother. Although she is a necessity, if a faulty one, your own health takes precedence," Diamond allowed, all but signifying that the discussion was closed.


The target had scarcely hit the ground before an abrupt clap snapped Obsidian out of her single-minded focus. She pivoted on her heel even as he spoke, watching the High General with a peculiar combination of deference and slightly off-kilter attentiveness. That distance could be easily attributed to her issues as a senshi, however, depending on just how much she had been going through the motion when he had not been present.

Obsidian inclined her head at his first commentary, however, polite. The General was rarely so generous with praise, however, unless a fault accompanied it. That alone meant something was off. The senshi's indigo gaze followed Rubeus with his approach, an almost instinctive reaction being to fold her forearms on top of one another behind her back. Her gaze fell slightly as he continued, though, not quite looking him in the eye.

"I hold no such illusions," she stated simply, although not specifying either about Endymion or the lesser prince. Perhaps the vague comment was in regards to both - Not entertaining any foolish thoughts of being fully capable of assassinating Endymion at that very moment, or well aware of the fact she had done nothing to deserve the prince offering so much as a second glance. That she was not worthy.
