I'm really not good at remembering things off the top of my head, so I really can't answer a lot of these questions x.x

me for his. ^^ He's much better at remembering a bajillion things.

Kyralih's current favorite Disney movie: The Princess and the Frog and Tangled.
PatF because of Navine - he's just too full of life ^^ and his eyes when
he starts liking Tiana, or that look when he figures out that she's
what he needs... yeah, I go all mush about it.
As for Tangled... well it's just an amazing movie. I love the
songs, the theme of following your dream, being who you are, Flynn
Rider/Eugene Fitzgerald's ENTIRE STINKING CHARACTER. I love him to
death. ... And her mother, Lady Gothel - she was AMAZING. Mother Knows Best.

Favorite song (current, again, I don't have a head for remembering things myself, but when reminded I JUMP ALL OVER IT):

and I think I had tears in my eyes when I was watching it for the first time.
EDIT: Totally forgot about "Go The Distance" from Hercules. This song hit me at my core and whenever I hear it my heart just swells.

Lol, I wonder what they'd do to it... Hercules was based off of Mythology and included several astrological figures (considering several constellations were named after him and his 13 trials) and they kinda... completely... killed the story.
XD My husband's adoptive father is Greek - like, born and raised in Greece and only left when he was supposed to join the army, flipped a coin to decide between South Africa and NYC, became a hot dog vendor, moved to Florida and lived happily ever after with his mom, Greek - and Paul said that when they went to the theater to see Hercules, his dad stood up in the middle of the movie and yelled "This is bullshit! They're killing my childhood!" marched out of the theater and refused to return. XD

I don't know how well the stories would fare when in Disney hands because most are riddled with sex, blood and betrayal, not to mention a completely different theology and belief about the afterlife. ;_; look what they did with the film adaptation to Percy Jackson... poor underworld was Christian-ized and Hades was turned into the devil instead of being an okay kinda guy.

I enjoyed the Hades adaptation that Disney did in Hercules and absolutely loved the story, but I don't know about any other myths they might try. ^^

I think there's always a chance that these movies may be "killed" when in Disney's hands because of the differences in culture/religions and such. There are lots of countries that have their own myths and tales that it would be interesting to see them come to life (i.e.: Norwegian, Crotia, etc). The only thing about it is that Disney tends to try to make the story "family" appropriate and writes it in a way that it would be marketable.

Although, with the exception of Tangled, I have not been fond of "Disney-only" productions for awhile. I am definitely a fan of the classics and Pixar ^^

Kyralih- I don't think boys/males would understand the heart ache as much as a female, just for the miscarriage part, just thinking about sends shivers down my spine, just really emotionally depressing. It was deeepressing, the whole beginning Disney Pixar surprised me with putting that in.

Oh! I completely forgot about the beginning of Up. I was bawling like a baby. I still tear up A LOT. Its really heart breaking....Pixar is so good at story telling when it comes to those kinds of darker scenes. They know how to make it sad, but in a way for kids to understand. That's also why I loved Wall-E. Not so much that it was sad, but it was dark for a kids movie and the fact that it almost was a completely silent (no dialogue, very odd for a kid oriented movie) for the first hour or so.

Pixar has some creative geniuses on their hands.

Ahh okay that makes more sense then!

They really are Brit, its amazing how well they do dark but in a sense everyone gets it. Wall-E was just great also.

Dude, what I love about Pixar was that little interview they showed at the beginning of... oh... I think it was Ratatouille, where they were totally like "And oh yeah, you know all those pixar movies we've done so far that totally took your breath away? WE THOUGHT THEM UP OVER LUNCH ONE DAY."

Favorite Disney Movie: This is a tough one... My favorites change all the time, but right now it's Tangled.
Favorite Disney Character: Again, super tough, but I'll go with Rapunzel since I'm super into Tangled again. I really want to be in love with Merida, but I want to see the movie again to be 100% sure.
Favorite Song: "I See The Light" and not only because I'm on a Tangled kick, but because the song is beautiful in general. It's just slightly ahead of "Almost There" from The Princess and the Frog because I can greatly relate to the hardwork the song describes.
Song That Makes You Cry: "I See The Light" because it reminds me of my relationship with my boyfriend of almost four years.
Moment In A Movie that Makes You Cry: All Disney movies make me cry at some point, even if I've seen the movie a million times before... Stupid girl feelings...
Least liked movie: I don't know!! I'm rewatching a ton of movies from my childhood and watching ones I've never seen before and I always seem to find something that I like about them... So, this one is too tough.
Least liked song: "The Morning Report" or any other song added in to Disney movies when they rereleased them on DVD/Bluray... That might be because they don't have the nostalgia feeling to them, or because they just don't fit... IMO
Least liked character: Gaston or the red neck man from The Fox and the Hound. They're so sexist. Like, there's sexism in Disney movies, but these two are just blatantly obvious about it.
Disney should make a new movie about/with: I'd like to see their own interpretation of the Swan Princess.
