Hello!
It is a pleasure to meet all of you! My name is MegaMeganXD, and I am a n00b to foruming. However, I am a HUGE fan of Sailor Moon so I figured I might as well start here and touch bases with some other moonies.
I got in to Sailor Moon when it started to air on Toonami forever ago. I was hooked instanly. I had never seen something that captured my attention so completely or resembled my abstract views. So as my intrigue grew so did my collection. Unfortunately when I managed to gather all of the manga our house burned down and took all of my stuff with it. Even though I was heart broken I started anew with my collection and still venture to conventions and shops to try and pick up neat trinkets.

I am currently working on some costumes with my friends for Dragon*con. Our plan is to do the Outer Senshi and Princess Serenity for the first half of the day and then zombiefy it for the second half. So far our small group has grown by three and we managed to pick up a Venus, Tuxedo Mask, and possible Mercury. I know I would be very excited to have more senshi with us if any of you are going to D*con. :3 I love to sew and craft, but I am rather fresh to it so I hope it turns out well.

As far as my personal life goes I live in Georgia with my boyfriend and Corgi (his name is Ein, like the one from Cowboy Bebop). I work as a Pet trainer and I can honestly say that I love my job. Not only do I train dogs, but also exotics and sometimes cats. (yes! it is possible) Most of my time is spent at work, school, or working on costumes and cosplays, but I hope to be able to share my knowledge and oppinions with you all about this infamous series that is so dear to me!

My boyfriend is currently studying to be a dog trainer. He only has a month or so left. ^.^

He is currently studying with the Animal Behavior College. He's just doing it for fun, though, with the hopes he can turn it into a part-time job that brings in some extra cash. We have both learned a lot, including our dog. How long have you been training animals?

Hey girl hey! Haha ya after a little debate with my self I decided why not indulge my inner sailor scout and join. I am happy I did too! You were right about everyone being so nice.


@Venus: Thats really cool! I first started with the 4-h and then I was trainer again by Petsmart. I have been training for around 5 years now and I love every minuet of it. I litterally can not get my hands on enough resources. The only problem I have is usually with the pet parents not listening or practising, but I am sure he will figure that one out soon. Recently I have started to do rehibilitaion with fighting dogs, which is pretty cool, but alot more stressful.

Welcome welcome! I love Corgis..I can't wait to see pics of him. xD Also, speaking of training cats... I've done a little with one of my more treat eager kitties. I've gotten him to come to me when I point my finger or say his name and give me high fives. xD If I spend the time and effort, I could probably get this cat to do just about anything. It'd be fun if I could spend some money to have someone help me along wth the process though. XD

Anyway, hope you enjoy it here! We're a friendly bunch and love newbies. ^_^

eeeeeeeeee.....*squeals at all the corgi cuteness* He's adorable!

I live in Louisiana. ^_^ I bought this book that came with a clicker that has some intructions. So when I do have time and feel like sitting down with him, I use the clicker to train him. It's been kind of an off and on thing. I have four cats and I think only one other cat would be easily trainable as she reallly loves treats too. the other two are skittish and one has some serious scardey cat anxiety issues...but he's a good kitty that doesn't do anything bad so I don't really care much about training him. xD The one I'm training is really mischevious and is notorious for getting into things and even at nearly 2 years old, filled with lots of energy that I don't think is going away, its just his personality. xD however, he seems to be able to want to do ANYTHING for a treat... I've just been out of treats and haven' thad a chane to run to petsmart to get the kind my cats like.

See one of my cats is really picky about treats for some odd reason, he only likes this one brand and then he's really slow to eat it, while the other cats are like "omfg gimme that"... But he whines constantly for food. -_-;

That is adorable! And as far as the training goes it is all about the consistency. You pet has to know they can trust you to be on point, but it sounds like you are doing an excellent job. I had a cat once that I trained to turn off the lights. It was really cool, but he would get frustrated with me when I studied sometimes and turn them off... ^.^' Some cats just want to mind there own business. And who can blame them?
Did you rescue them or did you get them from a breeder?

Oh no, all of my kitties are rescues from the street. xD One cat is my BF's (thats the female), he got her as a kitten from a friend of a friend, then I found the other three. Linx (my white kitty), was found at the mall when i used to work there near the dumpster super skinny and a tiny wittle kitty, then Little Foot, a friend found him in the middle of the street with his litter mates and managed to get him, and I offered to hang on to him while we tried to find a home...which didn't happen. That's also the scardey cat one, I think because he was born in the wild, so he's a bit feral. he latched onto Linx like he was a momma kitty when we got him. I've got some cute pictures of them in the Pet thread (i'll post the link). And then there is Draco, who I found across the street at the old apartment complex I lived at. I just walked outside and heard mewing, so I went and found him and he walked right up to me and was like "save me please". So i did. xD And he came with all of these odd personality quirks that my other cats don't have. I'm also thinking he may possibly be part Bengal or have some of it in him because he's got the body shape, big ears, personality, and similar markings.... He's adorable and loves cuddling, but also is very mischevious and was very destructive with chewing wires for a while. XD


And that's my cat story. o_o;
