Post your favourite filler episodes from the anime here! I dont get why some dont like the filler. i adore it just as much as the rest of them... my personal favourite:

Episode # 142 - "The Mansion of Secrets! The Menu of Love Is For You"

Oh that's a good one. I do enjoy that one too.

One for me would be: Ep 9 "Usagi's Misfortune! Watch Out for the Rushing Clocks"

Since we just watched this one during the livestream rewatch, it reminded me of how I enjoyed this episode for Usagi x Ami bonding time. Its also got some silly moments in it. :3

188 (?) dunno the original name just the german one, that episode when everyone (threelights bla bla) are at usagis home in the stars season ..

All the "Usagi alone" episodes from season 1 were great. Especially the one when she fought Kyurene (Was it her name?) for the tape thingie.
Most of the MoTD episodes were very entertaining. Even thought a bit repetitive.

What I like about Sailor Moon is that it's entirely free of "omg do our sempai love us" episodes where there is no battles. (Like other mahou shoujo animes do so many times) even in its fillers.

And what are exactly filler episodes? I thought that it were not related to the main plot - like the dinosaur one.

Yeah, Toei never licensed it for the Dic Dub from what I understand, so it wasn't cut from the Eng dub on purpose, they just couldn't get the license for it. After watching it...you might get an idea why. The animation is probably the worst of the entire anime. Its episode 67 in case you are curious. :3

It was a good one :B Too bad Rei didn't use her talent to read in flames (like she did with the volcano) more often in the serie. (Her own ritual flame doesn't count)

I'm pretty sure that I have many favorite fillers, but the one i'm thinking about now I don't remember what the episode was called, but I liked the one in S when Minako went crazy and wanted her heart crystal taken out. It was so funny .

Any episode which does not offer a major change to the series is counted as filler.

some think the fillers are something not in the manga. which is alot of them XD

by the way which one was the Orange Rainbow Crystal?

The one where Naru was sad so everyone wanted to go eat Chinese food and a priest was attacked.

The episode in Stars where a battle happens at Usgai's home and everyone shows up and basically destroys her house! Plus it has my favorite line out of the whole series! ^^

I also love the SuperS episode where Usgai and Chibusa go to the dentist. XD

All of the episodes between 1 and 8 are priceless as well. (Thought, can 3 really be called a filler? it's showed how Usagi got the disguise pen.)

I would count it as filler, although she got the disguise pen in the grand scheme of things it didn't make much difference. Otherwise you have to start including episodes like when Mars first used Burning Mandala or when we first met Reika. I would say filler is any episode without a OMG! D: moment

Actually, in Orange Rainbow Crystal episode quite a lot happens - Usagi becomes senshi's leader and gets a locket, Mamoru learns that he's Tuxedo Mask, Naru closes her story with Nephryte.

But if we count this as filler, then Rainbow Crystal Arc is my favourite. Villains actually succeed in getting the most of them, for once (why does Kunzite have opinion of more competent than Zoisite?), girls form as a group and friends, Mamoru and Usagi are obviously attracted, Ami gets a beau and VotD are interesting. And MotD need weakening before Usagi heals them, so other senshi are vital. And the victims are all healed despite being monsters in previous life, so one is not necessarily determined by previous life.

Okay guys, I think this idea is being overanalysed:

RULE OF THUMB:

If it has a typical monster of the day, it qualifies as a filler, even if a major event is included, if it follows the standard formula of a villain finding a group or individual to target, without it being a major part of a story arc, it is included.

The episodes with the following monsters do not count:

Yasha
Suzuran, Grape and Housenka
DD Girls
Yamandakka
Cenicienta
Tobihaneru
Mister Magic Pierrot

I also very much enjoy the episode in which Minako frantically tries to get her heart snatched. So many priceless moments.

That's episode 184, A Night Just For The Two of Them! Usagi's Pinch, and it's definitely one of my favorites too! Seems like a lot of people in this thread like the episode I loved how funny it was, and Eternal Sailor Moon using "Moon Tiara Action" lol

Definitely another one of my favorites! hahaha SOOOO funny! That's episode 109, although that episode was a pretty important one since and found out the identities of and LOL

Oh man, the entire first part of stars when they were fighting nehelania's return. It was just so raw and intense, and packed full of emotion.

In the R season, which I've kinda been watching (along with PGSM and Akatsuki no Yona), Episode 53. Probably the hands down funniest episode of Sailor Moon I've encountered yet. First, it's so cute to see Usagi and Mamoru acting like proud parents over the little boy (and when they find out he IS a boy...), gee, I mean, it's not like they'll ever get together in the future and have a daughter or anything (oh hai Chibiusa).

The Rainbow Crystal Arc was also pretty interesting.

My favorite filler episode is the one when Rei is singing which is episode 54.
