| I grew up watching Toonami and one of the shows was sailor moon. Recently I was reminded of the sailors Uranus and Neptune and I was kind of weirded out by the dynamic. So were they gay or were they actually cousins? I’m confused. |

| They are canonically lovers. The dub changed them to be Cousins just because of how things were at the time. Hope this helps.
