A new little parody series my brothers and I are working on, using footage from Batman: The Animated Series. The whole thing started years ago when my one brother parodied Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker and years later it's finally going somewhere! The first episode, or episode zero, was a response to a bratty kid on Xbox Live. The real first episode is a response to another video. Later episodes will be based on current events and other things.

I don't know if this really counts as an abridged as it isn't making fun of it's source material exclusively. This isn't our first go at this either. We did Cowboy Bebop and Death Note parodies that were shown at Otakon and can be found on VEOH.

As of right now I helped with some of the editing and consulting. I'll be voicing Poison Ivy later on once we get there.

With the new (forced) layout on Youtube, I've made a new background for the channel page. Unfortunately it gets cut off at the bottom, so I need to fix that.



Batman is Still a Jerk was actually the original of the two concepts. However, we felt the need to do the original first before moving onto Beyond. And no, Terry isn't the one who's a jerk.

We're currently working on episode 2 and we have some new vocal talent joining us.

EDIT: A rough title card sample from our Mr. Freeze episode.

We're still waiting on vocal work for our Freeze episode, so we've begun work on another one just in case the voice actor never come in.

In the meantime, enjoy Batman watching himself eat a hotdog.

for second I thought this was an actual show. (Got 4 hours of sleep last night) I shall check this out once I'm done watching a youtube video.

We did another short, inspired by our trip to New York Comic Con! The Mr. Freeze episode will be done soon, we promise!

I also did Wonder Woman's voice. Yay!

Here is episode 2! Of course it's not the one we were planning on releasing as two, but it works. The Mr. Freeze episode should be out by next week!

So you know how I've been saying that our Mr. Freeze episode would be out all during 2012? Well, we managed to finish it and put it up on Youtube on Thursday.

How were we rewarded for not taking an entire year on this?

Youtube nailed it for copyright violation not because of the music or the episode itself, but for a non-edited two minute clip within the episode that wasn't edited. Seriously, it was a scene where Bruce Wayne is speaking with some guy in the office that we put new music over and redubbed, and they had a fit.

I threw up a counter-claim and they finally put it back on...for one night. Then they removed it and gave us a strike despite the fact it is a parody and other people get away with full, non-edited episodes and movies on their accounts. I had to do their "Copyright School" and was given the option of fighting it further, but that page remains mysteriously broken.

The best we can do is edit it slightly and go for round two.

Or upload it elsewhere. Cause Youtube is dumb.

Definitely keep it as you intend. There's no reason to change your vision cos YouTube is being silly. I mean, your situation does seem ridiculous. Try Dailymotion, I really really want to see it

Thanks JoJia! You wouldn't believe the hours we put into this. My one brother redraws all the title cards for the episodes and then editing takes forever. All the voice acting is done by us too! My younger Brother is Batman and various voices, my youngest brother will be Freeze, my older brother is Grey Ghost, Superman, and various voices, and I'm usually the female ones; like Wonder Woman, Summer Gleason, and later on Poison Ivy.

I can't wait for you guys to see The Cold Truth. That was the one I came up with and suffice it say I'm a little mad for doing that to a Mr. Freeze episode lol.

That looks really nice! Sucks about Youtube though. I wonder how other groups like TeamFourStar get around that.

Episode 3 is now out on Vimeo! Since YouTube keeps striking us (despite the fact is parody and edited), were posting new episodes there. However, we will link back to YouTube.
