| Aino Minako (愛野美奈子) AboutMinako is an athletic girl with the power to transform into the Senshi of Love, Sailor Venus! Together with her companion Senshi, she fights evil and protects the future queen, Usagi, who is Sailor Moon. Although she had been a Senshi before the others, in the form of mysterious Sailor V, Minako can also be somewhat lighthearted, much to the annoyance of the more serious members of their team, like Artemis and Ami. As a Sailor Senshi, she is very dedicated to Sailor Moon and her friends, even if she shares the lack of seriousness that Usagi sometimes would have. Despite her name and constant attempts, Minako never seems to have any success with love. She is good at sports and athletics, and also at video games in the arcade that she often spends time at. Another favorite activity of hers is chasing after idols, whom she also dreams of joining. | She's my favorite senshi and favorite female character of all time. Where do I even start...
I adore her design, her character, everything. I think she's at her best during Sailor V though. |

| Agreed! I had always liked Minako (I mean, I love all the senshi, so that's not a surprise), but reading Sailor V is what really cemented her as my fav of the solar system senshi!!
I really like the conflict and overlap between her serious side and her fun side. She's a girl who has 1000 first loves, but has resolved herself to not have a romance for the sake of her duty. Who didn't care about idols until middle school, but then threw herself into dreaming of being an idol with everything she could. She a bit ridiculous, nearly gives up being a senshi just cause, and uses her transformation item to cheat in class, but is also the leader of the senshi, and the one to suggest giving up their own lives to save Usagi in the first arc. |

| Minako is easily one of my favorite characters in all of SM even with her stark personality difference in the live action! Also Dia, that fansite is gorgeous! Ive never seen it before so thanks fo rsharing.  |
