Responsibilities of the Requester for Group Viewings

• Create a thread in the Livestream Section if you want one with info and/or to track attendance for your viewing.
  
• Create a CyTube account so that we can temporarily give you the right set of permissions to control the video playback and moderate the chat if needed.
  
• Moderate the chat for your event. As always, ALL members must adhere to the GC Code of Conduct. If you feel uncomfortable moderating, you can always request Brit-chan or I or another staff member to act as moderator if we can make the viewing time. If you encounter problems with other members, please contact team Jupiter & Artemis as usual.
  
• Report attendance afterwards in the Report Thread for Livestream Attendance. (No points will be awarded for using the stream channel all by yourself, sorry ^^;.)

Link(s) to video(s):
You must provide a link to the content you wish to watch*. If it's a file you have on your computer, the best way to play it is by loading it into a Google Drive account and getting the link from there (see below).

Note: If you are planning on watching something you are uploading to your own source (Google Drive, for example), and that media requires subtitles, the video file cannot be softsubbed (often .mkv format). You will need to upload a hardsubbed version. If you do not have it hardsubbed, you can PM Brit-chan and she can work with you if needed.

If you ever have doubts whether what you want to request is PG-13/TV-14, you can always check https://www.commonsensemedia.org/ or the Parents Guide at the bottom of the media's IMDB page. If those sources don't list your media, simply contact one of the staff for guidance.

*If it’s something from the world of Sailor Moon and you’re having trouble finding a link, you can always ask Brit-chan or myself by PM/DM, since we have a lot of that stuff ^^;. Please do try to find it elsewhere first, though.


Start/End Date & Time:
If you're planning a group viewing or have a time in mind to sit and watch, please provide a start and end time to make sure there are no scheduling conflicts. We'll keep the GC Calendar updated with dates/times specified to keep everyone in the loop, so please check there first before making your request. Otherwise, we'll put up your links as soon as we can and you can watch it pretty much whenever you like! Pretty good, right?

Links will remain in the playlist pretty much indefinitely (unless the requester asks us to remove them via PM). So, ANY member can stop by later if they missed out on an event or just want to watch on their own time.


Would you like us to advertise the viewing?
If you’re planning a group viewing, we may be able to help advertise via the Discord announcements channel, and even social media in some cases! However, please understand if we cannot commit to doing so for your particular request due to time, etc. You will need to provide us with your own graphic and/or text to go with social media ads.

Just a quick note that I've updated the info above to mention that you guys can just PM/DM us directly with a request if the Google Form is too scary ^.~. No worries!
