I, Sailor Uranus, accept this challenge!

By October 4, 2018, I will challenge myself to take a chance in resurrecting a handful of previously Graveyarded storylines! Measurable goals along the way will be:

1. Opening/reopening an OOC thread for the graveyarded storyline to attract new players
   --Recruitment period will last a limited time; if no one is interested, I'll move on.
   --[ooc][Advanced] Love and Spite [Revival] - July 11 
   
2. Putting in modifications to the existing graveyarded storyline to address potential reasons for failure:
   --Proposing an Activity Rule to ensure the story moves along towards completion
   --Proposing a slight shift in plot to make completion an attainable goal rather than a far off dream
   --Putting restrictions on the number of players / active characters; assigning all non-claimed characters as NPC's or background characters to be controlled by players when necessary.
   --Instituting the expectation of time skips between scenes for less-action oriented storylines
   --[ooc][Advanced] Love and Spite [Revival] - July 11  
   
3. Securing players
   --Getting at least 2 others interested in joining the storyline
   --Having those 2 create profiles for the storyline / adopt ancient crossover profiles for the storyline
   --July 12
   
4. Reviving the storyline from the Graveyard section - August 4
   --Have each of the players post at least once within the first two days to kick things off or
   --Consider an RTRP to get things moving
   

I will consider this challenge met and completed if/when either of the following happen:

• The resurrected storyline gains two pages of posts
  
• The resurrected storyline reaches completion.
  

I consider this goal to be meaningful as most resurrected storylines often get revived only to fall inactive and return to the graveyard not long after; it's taking a chance that not only I stay focused on these neglected babu storylines, but that my fellow recruited players do, as well.

I'm going to take a chance with everything to do with my first senshi oc and OCs in general! This includes
-creating my first ever storyline! It's somewhat half-done? The story's been posted, but I haven't gotten enough players to get it approved yet lol
-participating in other RPs with any OC character
-more OC character accepted profiles-at least two  I ended up making 3, if you count Calliope from the HC event.
-participating in more RPs in general  I joined string of spirits as a villain and the HC event!
and I'll continue to have these characters, as well as other characters grow in development.

Taking a chance by hosting a revival of an old RP game, Clue. It's something new for me to host, and I believe it counts as taking a chance xD
Making a profile for a character I've never played before, and RPing with her after! (Hotaru, currently WIP)
Joining a new/old revival of a storyline!
Playing a character who pushes to act rather than react (Cassandra)
Potentially reviving an old storyline of mine that was later adopted by Aurae and pushing for the finish line! (Metamorphosis)

I've taken to doing a lot of shorter RP posts (< 500 words)... But in the RPs that I'm in atm it's a good time for both my characters (Minako & Sailor Pluto) to get a little more introspective and go into some heavily descriptive flashbacks for once! No more beating around the bush and just alluding to things that I think I'll flesh out later or that are assumed from canon!

Ask Solar Knight for an activity rule in our new RP.
I've discovered after doing both Casual Events and a normal RP that I need it! I have dates in my Trello to post but they're usually just to stave off the story being Silence Glaived @_@. Not good enough! Let's take a chance with an activity rule outside of Casual Events - definitely something new for me!

Revive Scandalous Scrutiny!
I've never revived a storyline before and it's taking a chance because Brit and I are always so busy and already in one other RP together ^^;;.

Push Sailor Pluto into more action instead of reaction this summer!
She's got the keys to return to the Space Time Door for goodness sake! I think this will be a little easier to pull off after I get some of her needed flashback stuff out of the way...

Embrace the mean side of Minako and the conflict that will occur as a result!
The new RP I'm in as Minako is begging for conflict so this is a perfect time to exercise that! This will be a good way to get outside of myself and ensure I'm playing her well instead of just being always nice to everyone, everywhere, in every setting >.>. It might feel like a bit too much at first since I'm not used to playing that side of a character, but there's no way to get to that just-right place for her character without starting somewhere!


Here's hoping I find time to do all this... Well, it never hurts to make a plan for this sort of thing, anyways ^^;;. Thank goodness I have all summer XD.

Resurrect The Lunar Chronicles HC series and see it to completion, running the hardest phase and keeping all players interested so that we can finish the event properly within the outlined timeframe!

Attempt to revive and use an old OC of mine that I originally had a whole storyline idea for that never took off; Sailor Vega
Revive old storylines successfully (Love and Spite, The Warrior Princess and the Miraculous Enyalian, Metamorphosis, Heart of the Ocean, Tale as Old as Time, Paramnesia)

I believe I inadvertently accepted this challenge when I decided to join an HC event as a villain today.
