Plot Summary: In the battle against the Black Moon Clan, Neo Queen Serenity has been killed. There was no crystal encasing to save her from the attack, and she took the full brunt of it before any of her guardians could protect her.

Now, the sailor soldiers must deal with the repercussions of no longer having her light in their life. How will this affect their friendships and their daily lives? How can they keep up the fight with guilt pulling at them with every turn?

And the threat of the Black Moon Clan is growing stronger everyday. Without Neo Queen Serenity to help in the fight, and most of Crystal Tokyo either destroyed or occupied, how will the remaining sailor soldiers keep them from taking over completely?

But never forget: starseeds are always reborn to live again...

I've added new information to the Details and Restrictions section, including a basic outline of the plot that I'd like to pursue if there is interest in this RP.

I'll be making an update to the RP thread to change the scene to the proposed new scene. It will be easier to continue from a set point.

THE STORY SO FAR:
The Black Moon Clan attacked Crystal Tokyo in the future 30th century. This is not the 30th century that Sailor Moon and her friends visited--their interactions with the past have changed the future. Sailor Chibi Moon has the experience from her childhood trips to the 20th century, even though this is now the Black Moon Clan attack and there is no time travel in this scenario. She physically appears to be 18 years old. Hoping to prevent the past future from happening, the sailor soldiers try to convince Neo Queen Serenity not to leave the safety of the Crystal Palace.

During the battle against the Black Moon Clan, Wiseman reveals himself. The sailor soldiers are hit with a powerful attack that leaves Sailor Chibi Moon encased in pink crystal. Unable to sit inside and watch, Neo Queen Serenity rushes onto the battlefield. She summons the Silver Crystal and gathers power and energy from her friends to use it against the Black Moon Clan and Wiseman.

When it seems that all is about to be saved, the Silver Crystal explodes, overloaded with power.

In grief, Small Lady drives back the Black Moon Clan with her Pink Moon Crystal. The other sailor soldiers, still in shock at their Queen's death, attempt to help her. Then the group returns to the Crystal Palace with the body of their beloved queen. King Endymion clings to his wife, stricken with the loss of his beloved Usako.

The death of Neo Queen Serenity and the coronation of Queen Lady Serenity are celebrated on the same day. It is an attempt at raising the spirits of the civilians of Crystal Tokyo, although it is mostly unsuccessful. The sailor soldiers are hurt and upset, trying to deal with their pain and ignoring each other. Without Usagi, they are lost.

That night, Small Lady heads to her mother's coffin, planning to replace the Silver Crystal pieces she collected from the battlefield. In the moonlight, she meets Sailor Mercury. After an awkward start, the two start to work through some of their sorrow.

And then there will be a timeskip to FIGHTING SOME BATTLES.

Okay so I'm a bit confused about the first paragraph:

So if Chibi Moon has never traveled to the past in this timeline, how does she have memories from those trips?

Warning: this is my own headcanon trying to make sense of it all:

Small Lady time-traveled as a less mature child, but when she returns to her own timeline, it is a little bit different every time. Time is warping and changing enough to alter her past so that she has lived through things that no longer exist. She time-jumps a few times even with in the canon Black Moon Clan attack. As a child she doesn't notice it, but every time she returns to the 30th century it now differs slightly from the timeline she left. When she leaves again after R to train in the past, she returns and finds that more and more of the things she remembers as happening in the 30th century are being reported differently by those around her. By the time she is fighting alongside Eternal Sailor Moon, she jumps back to the 30th century post-battle and learns that the Black Moon Clan has never attacked and the year she thought she was in is much earlier than the year she expected to land in. She finds out that her past history as remaining functionally the same for 900 years is now less true--it's now believed that she matured at a slower, but reasonable pace, awakened as Sailor Chibi Moon and was sent back in time to train with the sailor soldiers of the past. She has not time-traveled since that point, frightened of the consequences, and continued to train and mature as a teenager in this new 30th century. Her own memories of the past are blurry and untrustworthy the longer she stays in the 30th century.

So don't tell me. We're about to go into a huge angsty roleplay.

So now that the lovely Kyra has joined us as mopey Endymion, I'd love to start our next battle against Crimson Rubeus. Whether or not we want to defeat Rubeus is something we can decide on as a group--either he overpowers the sailor soldiers and they need to retreat, or they eliminate him.

I would definitely like to defeat the remaining Ayakashi Sisters. Koan died in the first battle, protecting Rubeus. That leaves Calaveras, Petz, and Berthier remaining. Please feel free to pick a sister to face off against and NPC her--maybe a post or two to defeat her?

You are welcome to start with a post grappling with how it feels to be taunted by Rubeus so soon after Neo Queen Serenity's death. The new Sailor Moon will decide that she cannot stay back and let him attack without facing against him. Hopefully that will be enough for the other sailor soldiers to follow her, if they weren't already upset enough to head into that battle without her choice. n_~

Welcome back, Metamorphosis Team!

I'd recommend giving the RP thread another read through (RP thread), at least page 5!

Bubbles posted last, as Sailor Mars.

We were fighting against Rubeus and the remaining Ayakashi Sisters (Koan died in an earlier fight): Calaveras, Berthier, and Petz.

Sailor Mercury defeated Berthier. Sailor Venus defeated Calaveras. Sailor Mars is fighting Rubeus. Sailor Moon (II edition) is fighting nameless Droids.

Sailor Jupiter was paired with Petz. It would be awesome if we could get a post where Sailor Jupiter defeats Petz!

What about the rest of us? We told Mars we'd bring support in the fight against Rubeus! Venus & co., feel free to target Rubeus!

Remember, we're NPCing all the Black Moon Clan, so feel free to throw a few reactions in there.

You all know how much fun I've been having letting the dice make decisions, so I tried rolling a six-sided die for:
• Defeat Rubeus and win (evens)/Lose and retreat (odds)
• If we defeat Rubeus and win, who delivers the final blow? Sailor Mars (evens)/Sailor Moon (odds)

I rolled a 2 for the first decision! We winnnnn!
...And I rolled a 2 for the second decision! Sailor Mars, finish himmmm.

I don't necessarily think we all need to jump in before we can end this battle.

Perhaps we aim for one post where someone else joins Mars (perhaps Venus?), Jupiter defeats Petz, and then Mars defeats Rubeus? We can then reflect on the battle, regroup, and skip forward to the next battle: Esmeraude!
