Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but I just wanted to share this with you all and get some feedback!  So, just recently I saw that there was a Sailor Moon edition of Monopoly coming out in November and got really excited.  However, I found the picture of the game on Pinterest to be wanting in some respects.

Firstly, they missed the obvious title.  Sailor Moon Monopoly? Really? Go for Sailor Moonopoly! The properties were all characters who got Holy Grails instead of houses; ChibiMoon was the dreaded Luxury Tax space okay, some would agree with that; and the money was regular Monopoly money.

So, crazy as I am, I undertook to right these wrongs and make a Sailor Moonopoly of my own.  I'm limiting it to the first season (I may do further editions, it seems, if I enjoy the project enough), putting actual places on the board, etc. etc.  We'll see if I ever actually finish.

However, I started with the funnest part - making the money - and I just finished that up.  Please, be heavy with the constructive criticism so that I can make this as nice as possible!  I don't want to sell it or anything, it's just a fun project!

So, let me know what you think, even if you think it's no good.

The money is a good idea and the images are perfect for them, I especially love the little details on the back like naming the characters and their senshi form. The only thing I don't like is the lines pattern, I know it's common with proper banknotes but for me it makes the whole picture hard to make out, this is especially the case with people who may not be aware of them for one reason or another.
I think it's best to stick with solid lines and not do the wavy liney pattern, or alternatively make the lines thinner and add more in between the spaces, that way the images and details of the banknotes appear easier.

Thanks for the advice, chrissifniotis!  I was afraid the engraving lines might be too much... but they did help hide the somewhat goofy borders I used.

Update: I added more and thinner lines, as you suggested, and reduced the wave effectsignificantly.  The result is much improved:

The no engraving options makes pixellation problems with the screenshots, so I'm still a sucker for the slight wave engraving. But everyone, let me know what you think!
