Can you post "reserve" a couple of times to save spots on a topic near the top? Or is that still considered double-posting?

Hey, this isn't something we do on GC and I personally would consider that to be spamming. If you could link me to specific threads you'd like to do this with, I could see if it's in some way relevant, but my instinct is to say this is spammy. I can't really think of a reason to need to be on the first page of a thread.

This thread I created. I was thinking for things like a members list, maybe some rules, stuff like that.

I think in this case it's fine since you're sort of making a group/list and you are the thread creator. You can also do this if you have a gallery to "reserve" spots for your graphics.

Places I wouldn't want to see this are on other people's threads or on general topics for the purpose of just being on the first page.
