So, Noragami is another one of my fave anime/manga series, and I love it sooooo much! A new chapter just came out after a year-long hiatus, and it's got me back into the Noragami hype!

I haven't seen it myself but it's a short series - only 12 episodes! So it might be easier for me to get into ^^.

What's your favorite aspect of the story?

Whoa boy, be ready for a novel LOL

I love Noragami because of several different reasons. The characters are amazing in terms of development, every person gets a believable backstory, wonderfully fleshed out personality, and the chemistry between characters, good or bad, is done in a way that makes you feel like it could be real instead of fiction. 

The plotline is very compelling, it draws off of Shintoism, how they have many deities, only in this series the gods can interact with the human world,  and basically in this anime when someone dies, their soul is given a second chance at life by becoming a Regalia, which is a weapon used by the gods to slay phantoms, which are collections of negative energy that impact the human world. 

The main character is Yato, a little-known god of calamity, who is in constant danger of being fully forgotten. To avoid such a fate, he takes odd jobs for the low price of 5 yen (very little money, essentially pennies) until he meets Iki Hiyori, who changes his life. 

I'm not gonna say too much more yet, don't wanna spoil it for you LOL
