How do you get the link for a topic post? So like if I have a post on the second page of the thread that I want to link to in my first post, how do I do it?

Sadly Forumotion doesn't allow this easily. However, it's not too hard, but a bit more advanced that using features we already have.

First, you'll need the topic url.

Then if you go to the post you want to link and then hover over the the "quote" option, you'll see a number in that url.



in this case, 400635

You can also right click the quote button and "copy link address" and past that into text box and copy the number portion.

Once you have the number, it's really easy.

Topic URL + # + 400635

Just be sure to add the # sign!

OH this one is easy.



If you click on the link with the green plus sign. (to the left of the youtube button) you can insert a url. "description" is if you what there to be text.

So https://www.thegalaxycauldronforums.com/forum without a description

With a description
