Pick ONE Sailor Moon Character and ONE other character from any manga/anime/movie/tv show/ect. and explain why.

I will have to say Sailor Mars for me. I'm not exactly religious like her but, she does has a temper(just a little) Like me and her hair is dark plus fire is pretty cool

Then I'd have to sat Android 18/Number 18 from the dragon ball series...if you've seen the show...I don't need to explain..seriously it's like someone decided to animate me...minus the blonde hair,fighting abilities,android and killing people part :p

also both characters are strong characters and I'm pretty strong as well

I definitely identify with Sailor Mars as well. Physically, I have long dark hair, dark eyes and I happen to look awesome in red. Inwardly, I was brought up by my grandparents (I was lucky to have two - Rei just has her grandfather) but they were super laissez-faire. That combined with the generation gap made it kind of hard for me to connect with them. As a result, I became independent very early on. Lastly, I'm super passionate and stubbornly head strong.

Ask for a fictional character outside the SM universe, I'm going to say Rogue from X-Men.


If you're not familiar with her, her mutative power causes her to drain the life force from anyone she touches. Her frustration at not being able initiate any physical contact with people manifests in odd ways. She can be extremely standoffish, hot tempered and moody. She hates not being able to connect with people. She's a drifter but, deep down, she wants to find a home.

I feel the same way sometimes. Rogue has a deep sense of duty that's embellished by her escapism. Likewise, sometimes I wonder if my goal-oriented exterior is truly what I want, or if I really just pursue goals for the sake of having a purpose.

Ha ha, no one is surprised when I say Haruka for the Sailor Moon character, right? Quite apart from the queerness and the gender presentation, she's also one of those people who can seem super intimidating but is kinda wibbly really. And there's the avoidance, the obsessive focus...

Other media, hmmmm... Rei from Oniisama e is like an overblown version of me aged 17. I was such a good, mature kid and then it just kind of fell off the rails and into alcohol, self abuse and melodramatic poetry. XDDDDD Rei makes it look about a million times cooler than I did though. I totally never had fangirls.

I would usually say Makoto...but I've had some people disagree and say other senshi and I just don't knowwww now.

Mine would definitely be Usagi. When my fiancee and I watch Sailor Moon together, and Usagi does the little cute silly things she does, he always looks at me. xD Her personality and mine are almost the exact same from the crybaby to the overly caring of people in general. Like her, I can be really weak and dependent, until I know I need to be brave and work things out myself.

Edit: Plus I really love bunnies and crescent moons.

I say this because I was told by my manager at work that I remind her of Donna. Mostly because I wanna work at a radio station like Donna, big music person, and the way I get excited is just oddly funny. XD

Kristen Stewart. I know that's terrible for all the Twilight haters but if I see myself in a tinted window doing the whole running fingers through my hair or shoving my hands in my pocket, I'm like... Umm, Kristen Stewart? I dress the same (I swear she steals my fashion choices, because I'm always way ahead of her ) and I have the same hairstyle. I don't even mean to be like her, it just happens. *shrug*

My fiance's family get me Twilight clothing every year for Christmas. I have this shirt now, with her on it, and my boss kept frowning at me when I popped into work wearing it. So I said, 'yeah I know, lame. It's Bella from Twilight.' And he replied, 'Oh! I thought it was you! I was thinking, why are you wearing a t-shirt of yourself!?'



That's just to sum it up, I'm in the back looking like K Stew. I just happened to pull one of her classic faces.

As for myself, Sailor Moon character would probably be a mix of different characters, i'm actually a very varied girl LOL Makoto would probably the closest to me, kicking guys ass, cooking, brown hair, seems to be able to live all by herself, guys reminding her of her ex boyfriend LOL, good ice skater... but I'm not tall, I'm more on the short side!

As for other characters, I'd go for Kagero in Ninja Scroll, never accepting to be treathen like a simple lady, a warrior in heart, somehow hard to approach but still very sensible, strong and reckless. That is actually totally me Or almost

Yeah I'd have to agree, I'm definitely a mix although I'm more like... Physically Makoto, tempermentally Rei and intellectually/morally Ami. I don't see any of Minako or Usagi in me at all. Maybe I don't identify with blonde characters?

All through my life ever since I was a teen people kept telling me I looked tall from far but as they were getting closer, they could realise how small I was LOL

I see myself as a weird blend of Ami and Usagi. I'm pretty quiet like Ami and have a straight A complex like her, but I always see the good in people over the bad like Usagi, also I like to daydream like her. That and tend to have a similar appetite as her~ >>

Outside of Sailor Moon, that would probably be Hiyori from Lucky Star. I act very similar to her and react the same damn way to things as she does, kind of creepy. xD

I see myself as various of the sailor moon characters. I'm shy like Ami and my hair is like Mako's, brown pulled in a ponytail and somewhat of a tomboy. I have a terrible temper like Rei but only in the mornings when I'm forced to wake up.

As for any other fictional character, I guess you could say I'm similar to Raven from the Teen Titans. Not that I have psychic powers or anything but I sometimes feel like I sense things and also I like reading, locking myself in my room, being alone....stuff like that.

A blend of Usagi and Ami. Ditzy like Usagi, emotional, didn't like school. On the other hand, I'm actually very smart underneath and love books and learning. I'm also a little shy at first with new people.
From another series? Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin because she loves Kenshin! Also, I have a temper like hers at times.

Makoto Kino all the way. I'm tall, romantic, a good cook and I love flowers! I also have a deep connection with her because most guys don't like me since I'm tall (I'm 5'10).

When we're first introduced to her in the anime, that crane guy said he could never date someone as big as her. It was a common statement said to me all the time in school. ughhh.

Oh and from another series, I would have to say Charlie Brown from Peanuts. I'm an emotional wreck just like he is! HAHA

I don't want to say the same thing as everyone else.. but I am quite a mixture of all of the inner senshi. First and foremost, Usagi. I love to sleep, eat, read manga (or books, even though she hates them), and play video games. Literally. If my life could be this, I would be happy forever. Plus I'm a total baby at times and whine a lot to my boyfriend.

I always associated myself Rei growing up, only because we had similar hair and I'm an Aries. I sometimes have a temper.. but that's really it haha. Now that I'm older, I am more spiritual like her and I meditate, but that's a whole different story.

Ami! I'm smart (sorry not patting myself on the back) and always got good grades. I hate school now, but I used to be a little bookworm.

Currently, I relate the most to Mako. I enjoy cooking more, I'm a hopeless romantic, and I love flowers. I can't get enough of them. It is a secret dream of mine to find my Mamo-chan and become the perfect house-wife!

I fall into the "mix" category as well.

Looking at personality traits and physic I am a mix of Minako and Makoto.

Minako - long blonde hair, blue eyes, plays volleyball (athletic), determined, stubborn, romantic, clever, irrational at times, loves cats, loves stuffed animals.

Makoto - Muscles (haha ok well I have an explaination for this: when I used to play hockey I was always placed as the "enforcer", the designated person who would use their strength to "enforce" the play, that and I liked to fight in hockey... :3 ), height (I am right under 5'9), I like to think as myself as strong, independent, loves pink, loves roses, hates cheaters.

Now I do have a little Usagi in me when it comes to her quirkiness, her love of sleep and food, and yes sometimes I wine when I don't get what I want. Also her love for tall dark and handsome men (my good friend told me that as a couple my fiance and I look like Usagi and Mamoru out of the blue, without him knowing that I was a Sailor Moon fan). My wedding dress is also very similar to Princess Serenity's dress (I did this sub consciously when picking it out. It was the first dress I picked and I feel in love with it on the spot).

I see myself a little bit as Usagi, I can be the biggest cry baby ever but I can tough up when it comes down to it. I also love to sleep, and eat, and I am quite clutzy. I can be very jealous, and possessive of my loved ones as well, but I do care for them. I am just 2 inches shorter than her as well.
As for another character from elsewhere.... Hmmmm
Haine Otomiya from The Gentlemen's Alliance. A very loving character so I relate to her in that sense. I have a similar friendship relation of Ushio, and Haine like I do with my best friends.

For me it's always been a mixture of Usagi, Mako-chan, and a tiny bit of Ami-chan. Mainly due to being ditzy, liking comics, clutzy, crybaby, hate waking up for school, etc. I also like to think that I can be the amazing friend that Usagi is to everyone and I love the way she does. Unconditionally without thinking of anyone else ever. Not even kidding. Got my Tuxedo Mask sitting right next to me.

For Mako-chan, well I like to cook and bake and that kinda stuff (my cooking isn't horrible like Usagi's XD). However, I've always related with Mako being tomboyish with a feminine side. I always wished I could kick butt like her though. Can't say that I have actually beat up anyone, I probably couldn't survive a fight. ^^;

As far as Ami goes, I like learning and I did enjoy school quite a bit as far as interesting classes went like history, literature, art. But I wasn't necessarily a book worm like her either.


And I think when it comes to other series, I've always wanted to aspire to be like Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket. She just has the loving accepting personality, very similar to Usagi's, that I want to be like. So I guess I might not necessarily relate to her, but I look up to her as a role model in a sense.

I see a lot of myself in Haruka, especially Haruka in the manga where she is a little more feminine than her anime counterpart. I can be pretty masculine and tomboyish, but occasionally like to be a little girly. I'm tall (taller than any of the senshi XD) and I have short hair. I loooove driving fast. Driving is one of my favorite things to do.

I'm not quite as big a flirt as Haruka, but I've been known to get my flirt on every now and then. Well, not as much since I'm in a relationship now. I'm really protective of my loved ones as well. I can be a little selfish and arrogant and harsh with my words like her too. Take the good with the bad, I guess XD

I see myself in all of the Senshi to be honest, but if I had to pick anyone for right now I'd be a male Usagi. We're both flighty and ditzy and hyper and love food. Plus we both have dapper gentlemen that we are in love with. ^^

If we're talking about other series, why not another mahou shojo? I'd totally be like Ryou from Tokyo Mew Mew. We can be arrogant jerks together.

I see that I am a huge mix of Usagi/Rei/Ami. I can be a huge crybaby and fatty like Usagi. Then I can get really hot tempered and need to go mediate like Rei, but when it comes to school I get all my school work and study before a major test or before anything is due like Ami Chan and I strive for getting extremely good grades and care a lot about my gpa.

I see myself a little like Minako, she has been always- I mean ALWAYS- my favorite senshi, and when I read the manga a little time ago I loved her even more. Why? Maybe because she has a lot of things that I would like to be: I've dreamt to be famous since very young, and I have a little leader complex... :/

On the other hand, I feel identified with Setsuna, because we're both proud Scorpio, and I also have that "observer" role, I mean, I tend to watch the development of things rather than act immediatly (oh, that contradicts Minako...lol I'm a huuuuuge mess), and I feel myself more mature that the people of my age, sometimes a think I deal with adult problems that just doesn't come with my age...

I see a lot of myself in Hotaru and a bit of Serena. This is probably why they are both my favourite scouts. I'm shy like Hotaru and misunderstood and disliked. I'm not athletic and I'm quite physically weak and not very strong. I also spend a lot of time alone sometimes and love to write and write letters but never want to send them. I'm a bit annoying like Serena, but totally a romantic. I'm a whiner and may seem selfish, but I have a big heart like her.

I think I'm most like Rei. I say that because I'm a really hard worker and can at times be a hot head with a quick temper. I also have that one friend who I'm always fighting with. I get on my friends cases if they are slacking. Also I enjoy singing like Rei does.
I can't really think of other characters off of the top of my head right now.

I can see alot of me in Serena in fact i acts just like her im lazy,im always late to school every day(yup every day),im selfish when it comes to food (my food >),i get bad grades in some subjects and i don't like studding.im silly but im not a ditz(well not all the time.....)


I can also see my self as Rukia Kuchiki for bleach.she kind and she don't give up easy as everybody else. she some times as silly and a goof ball.but she also don`t stick up jerks kinda like me.
