Any advice on writing about people with physical or mental disabilities in a non problematic way? Because I need help with it.

Unfortunately, I do not have any great suggestions, but I would recommend reading what you can about physical and mental disabilities. If possible, you could also get some personal experience with the handicapable through volunteering.

I meant more was anyone working on any stories that they wanted to talk about, or have anything they're writing in the works.

I wanna start a fanfic! My other two I'm considering a failure. They were more a less spur of the moment things with the chapters, just random events, no real progression of the story. But what to write about??!

That's always the hard part, isn't it? Can you recycle any of those spur of the moment fics and build on them to make them bigger?

I'm notorious for starting fics when I get an idea, and then never finishing them. I just started a new one that I'm super excited about, but who knows how far that'll go. I have never finished a story before.  So if anyone wants to start a writer's support group, I'm in! Haha

I have a fanfiction that got a lot of popularity on FFN, and I keep getting reviews and messages asking me to update, but I just...am not feeling inspired anymore. I'm really considering forgetting about the account and making a new one so that I can start fresh. I have so many ideas, but I struggle to stay dedicated to one storyline when I have so many other things I want to do.

I totally know how that goes. I go in such phases with my stories, and I tend to write a paragraph or so at a time, then flit to the next story, so it takes me forever to finish a chapter. 

I've done that a couple of times with accounts. If you think it'll help, it's worth a try!

I'm still working on that crossover horror fanfiction I talked about in your thread, dreamsinpink. Haven't made any progress on it since that conversation the two of us had. I'm still stuck writing up to the actiony bits-and that slows me down big time. I also have a habit of re-reading and re-writing and deleting previous sentences and paragraphs if it doesn't match the image I have in my head when writing it. Needless to say,that slows me down a lot and sorta takes away motivation. 
I'm determined to finish this one though. I've let too many fanfictions go, I need at least one solid good one complete. 
Also no idea what I'd rate it. It'll either be T or 16+ or R, depending on how I write it and what kind of spooky things I let happen once I get on a roll. As of what I have right now? It's a solid T.

I'd love to read it once it's up! Or if you want a beta reader, I'm happy to help. I've always wanted to write something horror-y, but I haven't ever really tried. This new one that I just started is leaning in that direction. I'm trying to do something I've never really done before, so for now, I'm super motivated. We shall see how long this motivation lasts, haha.

I'm the same way! I swear I change more things than I keep. I'll write pages worth of stuff and suddenly decide NOPE, don't like that. It's a bit exhausting sometimes. 

Could you skip the action-based parts for now, and come back to it later? That might help!

Skip? I'm not even on the action parts! It's the action parts I'm good at-its the parts leading up to the action parts that I'm having trouble with. You know, the normal before-everything-goes-to-hell that happens in every horror thing ever? That's my weak point.

I figure if you do all the action parts first, you'll have enough done that it will hopefully be easier to put the rest in, and since you put so much work into it, it'll be like well, I'll have to do it now! It's a bit dishonest to yourself, isn't it, haha.

I'm actually planning out three things: the rest of my Twilight Pretty Cure fan fic, another Pretty Cure fan fic called Tsuki no Pretty Cure, and a potential Kamen Rider fan fic called Kamen Rider Hope, even though I haven't seen any Kamen Rider shows.

It's called Silver Destinies. I basically took the roles of the senshi and the shittenou in SM and flipped them, but added my own reverse to the story. I wrote it when I was thirteen, and I just can't bring myself to finish it :/

Not sure if this will help at all, but I had stories that I had written years ago and I felt the exact same way! Even though they're definitely not finished yet, I find that if I go through and edit them (because they used to be pretty awful, haha), it kind of reignites the spark for them.

I have a handful of fanfics and a few original stories in the works. it's just getting words to paper and not getting distracted in the middle (or earlier), which is always a big problem for me.

I just started a fanfic now.

It's raining here, so I was inspired to write an AU where Ami is recruited by Mugen Academy before activating as Sailor Mercury. While there, she develops a sort-of friendship with Michiru.

I'm undecided if Michiru has activated as Sailor Neptune, but she most definitely hasn't met Haruka yet. I'm also thinking of working in Hotaru marginally.

That sounds really interesting! Are you having Mercury activate later in your story?

Yep! I'm thinking of having neither be active at first, but Neptune to activate first. I think I would like to alternate points of view with each chapter possibly.

Well, I just finished chapter three of the first multi-chapter Sailor Moon fanfic I've actually planned out to a degree. I have a complete outline and everything, so I'm pretty excited about finishing a full fanfiction for once. XD

I'm a little worried people won't take to some of the Otaku Senshi very well, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

^Good for you!!! Keep at it. I plan to resume mine tonight or tomorrow. Alpha/Beta readers in a few weeks/months perhaps?

I'm steadily working on chapter 4 of my Sailor Luna fan fic. I pretty much have the entire story planned out, and it'll be 42 chapters long. I planned on making it 54 chapters, but I didn't think I could drag out a simple premise for that long so I cut it down.

@OuterHarmonie23: You wanna be each other's beta readers? I'd be up for that ^^

@Juliko: You've got more chapters planned than me! Mine's a somewhat shorter storyline though.

Yeah, I don't have a lot of time to work on it this week, as I have a house guest for the 200th anniversary of my college, but I hope to get back on track in June. I have about a Chapter and a half, and I'm shooting for six or seven chapters as the first installment with the option to continue if I have motivation.
