♻ If you are interested in representing a location, please keep in mind that the standard will be 4 to 6 threads per locale. If you think you'd have a hard time managing this, please let me know. I based this on what was available in previous years for the World's Fair activities.
♻ Please try not to re-use exact games/topics from previous years.
♻ A thread can be a game, contest, quiz, information-sharing, discussion, etc. (If it is discussion, and you are the host, you are expected to help keep it moving.)
♻ You may share an area with another member if you'd like to and thus split the responsibilities.
♻ Countries/states/provinces/etc. are first-come, first-serve. The first person to claim the country should state whether they are looking for a partner to help host events.

The dates for the anniversary event are the week of September 10th (start date TBD) through Sunday, October 1.

Need some helping thinking about ideas? There's an entire archive for the World's Fair!

I'm having some ideas so I guess I'll be fine on my own ^^ Just gotta re-organize all the info from previous years XD

I'll take Korea, please! I've never visited (sadly) but I do have a lot of interest in it and I already have ideas for threads and games~

Has anyone done England/UK? if not  i can give it a shot...

I can take Mexico! And why does it seem like the fair is running a much longer time then last year?
I'll probably set up a quiz, a Spanish wordsearch, and some kind of flash game.

Cosmos-Hime, last year it was two weeks long. I added an extra week in hopes that, even though a lot of our members seem to be kind of busy, it would give time for more people to participate. The World's Fair typically involves a lot of threads—there's a lot of information to share!

I was also thinking about hosting a shitori game with different themes relating to locations, foods, and things that happen in Japan.

A partner would be nice, as I cannot come up with 4 activities (xD.

Okay, so I couldn't find a good flash game.  I'll just have a quiz thread, crossword and word search instead. Does that sound good?

If you want to host a flash game for another country, if you find one, and maintain your crown as flash game queen, there might not be objections. ;D

Are you going to create a section for each country for the fair? Or we just create all the topics here and you move them after?

You create all topics here, and I will move them. Traditionally we do create a different section for each country, and I plan to do that unless we have a forum limitation that requires a single event forum. That's why I want to make sure it won't be too sparse for each country—an entire subforum with a single thread is not quite enough. ♥
