| Sailor Moon creates a lot of potential for role-players to fit their characters in eras other than the present day. A setting within the past and within the future is already canon for Sailor Moon, and the canon theme of reincarnation allows for role-playing in other time periods, too.
Which era do you like to role-play in or which do you like the least?
Personally, I love to role-play during the Silver Millennium, particularly focusing on character development and relationship building. The potential for well-developed relationships are hinted at in the canon, but never fully explored because the disastrous events of Metallia and Beryl overshadow what happened prior. In particular, I like exploring the relationship between Prince Endymion and his generals, the relationship between the cats, and the relationship between Queen Serenity and Princess Serenity. Although, the relationship between Prince Endymion and Beryl intrigues me, too, because there are several hints, but very little backstory in the canon about what happened between them.

| I really adore modern-day Tokyo and Crystal Tokyo, when it comes to eras. I have an interest in modern-day Tokyo regardless of Sailor Moon, so roleplaying games in that era allows me to write about some of the things I've researched or experienced. ♥ On the other hand, Crystal Tokyo is this mythical utopian future... I like working with that or even going past it. (I enjoy fiction that is post-apocalyptic in nature, so most of my personal storylines tend in that direction...)
I don't dislike the Silver Millennium, necessarily, but it takes a more developed plot to engage me in that particular era. |

| What sorts of things have you researched about modern-day Tokyo that you can apply to role-plays in that setting? Also, if you don't mind sharing, what sorts of resources do you typically use? |
