I brought this up on the Discord art guild server earlier and I thought it would be fun to create a thread dedicated to this game. The rules are super simple. Basically, as the name would suggest, a challenge is proposed, like "Usagi eating cake" and you have to attempt to draw said thing with your eyes closed. That's the only rule. You can add color, text, whatever. Just so long as you didn't look at what you were doing when you did it. (I realize you might need to open your eyes to pick out the tools you need, but after you do that, keep 'em shut! ) The beauty of this game is that you don't need to be a seasoned artist to participate since it's just for fun. You just need to be bored LOL. I was thinking we could even add an extra challenge by making a poll where we all vote on the most interesting rendition and whoever had the funniest one is declared victor, making them responsible for picking out the next theme/challenge. You can use any program to make your picture. You can even draw it out on paper or paint it if you're ambitious enough to do so. 

RULES: It has come to my attention that maybe I didn't specify enough, sorry! I was excited lol

You can use a reference pic. That's totally fine. You don't have to, but you can if you don't remember what the character looks like. You just cannot look at what lines you are putting down on the paper, screen etc as you are drawing. So like, let's say I'm trying to draw PallaPalla but I don't recall the details of her outfit, I can go google her and study it. I just can't open my eyes mid-drawing and be like "hey does my PallaPalla look correct? Oh shoot her eyes off in space *erase error*" 'cuz then it would be no fun! You could open your eyes to look at your reference of course, but once you start drawing again you have to close them. Sorry, is this making sense? I'm not the best with written explanations sometimes lol. \

It can look good, bad, whatever. As long as the actual work of the drawing, coloring, typing etc was sincerely done with closed eyes. If you want to add color, you will probably have to open your eyes to select the color, but once you go to add it, you have to color the picture with closed eyes. It's okay if you pause to look and see like "omg she looks freaky" just so long as you don't add stuff with your eyes open!

I had to do some serious censorship on my end for my Cintiq and PaintTool Sai, so that I couldn't see what I was drawing. XD

That PallaPalla is actually fairly recognizable, not bad XD

I don't have a tablet at the moment, I usually draw with the line tool and the mouse though. That requires a lot of seeing what you'redoing for context, so here's some freehand mouse attempts at this game. To quote that one SuperS episode with Kamoi the starving artist in it, "Ohhhhh noooo..."
