I just won these dolls from an ebay auction a few nights ago and I just got them yesterday. Everytime I get a new doll (Yes I still buy dolls) I open it up right away. But these Sailor Moon dolls.... I know I probably shouldn't open them since collector's value and all, but I don't really plan to sell them. Ever. Once I have them, I'm keeping them. And I really, REALLY wanna open these.

So, what do you guys think, should I take the dolls out of their boxes, or leave them in?

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. If there's another place in the forum, please go ahead and move it there. ^^;

If you want to open them, I think you should, especially if you don't plan on selling them at any time. They're yours to do with as you wish, and if you want to open, then you should! :3

But if you're hesitant about it, maybe wait until you are certain whether you really want to open them or not.

On a different note: Congrats on winning them!

Here is the way I look at it:

If you ever plan to sell them, don't open them. If you bought them for your own collection and want to take them out, by all means do. Just make sure you don't destroy the box and keep it

I think that if you really won't sell it, open. But be careful. My sailor moon dolls were kidnapped by my daughter and they are not in the best condition. BUUUT, I took it back and they look better now.

If you plan on reselling them later on, then, don't open.

You never know if you may sell them. Say something happened and you need money fast. You have invested into some really nice items, you can sell them for good money. Also if you take them out who is going to stay they will stay in perfect condition. Depending on where you are keeping them dust, kids, mistakes could happen.

Open them! Heck I open everything!

I opened them!! They look so much better out of their boxes!

I'm an only child and I don't plan to have any kids in the future. I don't live near any kids either so I don't have to worry about that. I'm so sorry your dolls got kidnapped though!

I have absolutely no plans to sell them. I've been saving money in my savings account so I think I'd be good if I needed money in a hurry. XD

hahaha, I already got them back. they're stored away. buuut

when they make new dolls, I'm opening them (i want zoisite one) i have Taylor Swift dolls and i opened them. also since some were sinning dolls and the switch to make them sing there full segment was on the back. Also my 2nd cousin like to play with them, she comes over. she at the age where she play nice with toys. she 7 or 8.. not sure XD

I couldn't get the dolls to stay on the doll stands that came with them (Except for Sailor Moon weirdly) so I used some that I already have. Chibi Moon didn't even fit on hers. Her leg kept snapping off. :\

some of the dresses are cute for the taylor doll. if they make a fisheye doll, he might steal the dresses xD

i think the US had 2 different dolls, plus there is other countries dolls too
