I know I posted on the Discord, but just in case there are members that don't have it. (And so this section gets some love, I will be posting here quite a bit XD)



I actually really like this... it's pretty complex for what I usually do. One thing that is bothering me, is that my tastes are extremely shiny and bright, personally. I don't know what is bothering me so much about it. Is it that it's just too chaotic? Is it the right image of Usagi is too bright? I can't quite put my finger on it. I rather like her hands holding the rose on the left, so I plan to keep that in. I'd appreciate any and all help. I'm trying to improve here, but don't know if it's going quite as planned XD

I would suggest that Usagi's face not be as bright, it's a smidge too much. It contrasts heavily with the dark part of the flower you have smack dab in the middle. I think the textures and such could work if Usagi was a bit darker than the BG, because right now, for me personally, she's a bit lost and I'm drawn to elements that should be just a side piece.

I do think the left hand side is well balanced in contrasts though.

Like this? I think it looks a bit better. Should I change the image completely?

Advocating Queenie's advice. I see you edited Usagi already; looks better A LOT! However, I would also contemplate to darken up the left side of the signature as well in order to make the eternal brooch more visible?

Also regarding the contour of the text: Perhaps using a white contour rather than a bluish one? :3 I would also recommend to try another 'bolder' (but not too 'vigorous') font instead of Steiner ^^

I'd recommend Master of Break, Moon Flower, and Tropical Brush

I don't think I have anything else to add besides what Diana and NQS said! This sig is looking lovely! Can't wait to see the finished work.

This is actually "New garden" I was going to use Moon Flower actually at first XD It's one of my go to fonts for lyric videos. I'm curious if the different flower looks better, or have I made it worse? It's so fun to play around all of this stuff.

Also, text placement. I'm now unsure with this different font.

I'm not sure if I like the text in that place or not. Have you played around with other positions and sizes? I almost think it would be just as nice with no text or maybe if it was a really simple gif that has one of those shiny effects or something.

But I do agree with Brit, the text seems a bit off/out of place. If I recall though you're basing it off lyrics yes? I would suggest moving around the text and trying a variety of fonts.

Well, I forgot how to save gifs properly, so hopefully this looks okay.
