| Hi! So, the things I post here may require some flexibility when being defined as 'art,' but this might be as close as I get. Here are a few images of maps that I drew of features I found in the field and, afterwards, digitized in a computer program called ArcGIS. This is an image of a possible Postclassic altar used for performing rituals. And this is an example of a stratigraphic profile. When archaeologists dig in the ground, especially in the region I conducted research in for my Master's thesis, we record the type of soil we are digging in. The changes in the type of soil help us date objects and give us more information on how an object got there. Bah, never mind, the image won't host. It looked pretty cool, too. And this beauty is an example of a computer programming language I am learning for work, Python. I coded my version of Asteroids, a popular video game from awhile back. Click to play! Click on the "play" button (the triangle) in the left corner of the screen to start the video game!

| Oops, forgot to include instructions for the video game. I should code them in there. The space bar will shoot missiles from the ship, so you can destroy the rocks. The left and right arrow keys will turn your ship. The up arrow key moves your ship forward. |

| Oh, geez, that's actually my hand-drawn plan map, not my digitized copy. For some reason I cannot upload any of my digitized maps. ):
Thanks! The title is because I created that video game while taking an online course with Rice University. |

| Nice! I appreciate the simplicity of this diagram. I'm jealous of those parallel lines! - Luna wrote:

So did you come to that conclusion based on the type of rocks as well as the way they are oriented? |
