Since we seem to have a lot of gamers here I wanted to have a discussion on the future of the gaming industry. We can talk about what technologies you would love to see get better in the future, and the stepping stones to more advanced gaming technology. The death of the PC and Console industry, the migration to mainframe gaming and the rise of streaming and mobile games. Social concepts like Twitch and Youtube channel communities, the younger generations take (or lack of a take) to gaming.
Have you ever tried VR what did you think?

Im personally the most excited for Augmented Reality, I cant wait to get my hands on a hololens to not only use it for games, but for school and learning as well.

I don't think PC and consoles are going to go away for a long, long time. As for VR, I've never tried any of it-but would totally love to!
