I've been meaning to buy this game but I'm not too good with FPS shooters anymore. Which class types do you recommend for a first-timer, in case I do get this game?

I've basically never really played FPS games before Overwatch, so I feel you can pretty much learn to use any character you like if you just put some hours into them, but picking someone from the Tank or Support Class might help adjust. I personally like Tanks, but I also play as a handful of other characters from Attack, Support, and Defense classes. Each character has a different gameplay feel to them, even if they're in the same class category, so you should experiment and see what you like!

I didn't know it wasn't a cross platform game. That kinda puts a dampen on things, to be honest. How much does it usually cost? $20?

The basic PC version is 40 dollars to buy online. The version you'll find in stores for PC and ps4 is like...60 dollars i think. You can see what each version gets you on Blizzard's Overwatch website. It's mostly just a few bonus character skins or stuff for other Blizzard games, so the 40 dollar version was what I got.

Until the end of April 17th, you can buy the PC version of Overwatch: Origins Edition for 10 bucks off, so now it's 50 dollars. ^^ Here's the deal. Only ten dollars more than the basic package available on the same site.
