Perhaps we could have some kind of bracket for the best SM couple, pitting couple vs. couple? First everyone would be allowed to nominate their favourite couples, then those would be randomized into a bracket and "battle" each other with voting?

The holiday in question is approaching, but this poor thread is so bare! Please feel free to make suggestions and volunteer to host events!

I will be coordinating several, including:

i could do a flash game or two or help Kai with something, maybe the team contests

I think it would be fun to organize the voting for the best SM couple! But Kai is free to claim it first, of course, since it was his idea. I'll think of some more ideas once I get home this afternoon~ ❤

I'd like to do something on Discord, and I think it would be fun to have a "speed dating"-style event where members are encouraged to ask each other questions and get to know each other.

I really love these ideas Merc! Especially the speed-dating and the SM couple tournament.

I haven't seen anyone claim a dress up game. Could I host one?

Edit: alternatively, maybe an otaku contest if I can't find a decent doll game. i'm looking and no luck so far xD

I'm sure that either of these could be fun! I almost wonder if a "Valentine-fy" an existing sailor soldier uniform would be interesting, almost as a combination of the two? (But maybe that's just me.)

Oooh thanks! I like that first one a lot; it has a lot of details! I was just thinking it might be funny to have a "Say Yes to the Dress" and the scenario is the girls (fueled by Minako) are trying to get Haruka to wear the girliest Valentiniest thing they can find for her date with Michiru. And thats how you come up with your dress design. xD Bonus: come up with something for Michiru too!

I also like your "Valentine-fy" a Sailor Soldier uniform too, maybe the challenge is to try to make a Valentinified Sailor Soldier outfit based on one of the ones you linked above instead of the standard Senshi Creator. Ooor come up with a dress design that's opposite from what you think the character you picked would wear. So for example, if you were to be coming up with a dress for Setsuna, maybe it would be something frou frou and pink and for Usagi something elegant and mature. The background could be "Your character has a Valentine's Date and they want to dress their best, but are looking for something a bit different than their usual attire..." etc.

These are all really good ideas! Is there one you're leaning more towards? ♥ (I think the Haruka in a girly dress one is pretty amazing...)

I'm liking the Haruka idea just cause I think it'd be a little different than our normal dress up games and something kind of silly too.

Random suggestion but is there any way we could add a couple Valentine's emojis, like a heart maybe, to GC's festive smiley collection? Looks like we've been slowly adding in for each holiday so lets not stop here! XD

Edit: Just noting I'll post when my gme is ready. Just waiting on last minute graphic request I put in. Woops. xD If they're a bit busy tho, I don't mind moving the game later this evening. ^^

@sailor Mercury- I would like to do just one this year. When does the event start, and how long is it running this time around?

She planned to start it today, but due to unforseen circumstances, she will probably start it tomorrow. It's a bit late for this years planning I'm afraid! I'll leave it to her if there is anything you can do this far out but due to the time frame that might not be possible

Okay then! I'll just set up my thread now in the WIP area.
