Ever wondered how to make transparent images?
Wonder no more! Here's a small how to post on how to make
some of your favorite sailor moon images ~~transparent .pngs~~
ps let me know if this is ok to post here and if i did the title and stuff correctly...nya
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Any version of Photoshop (I use CS6)
- An image of literally whatever LOL
I decided to write this tutorial up because I'm currently working on a
signature for
@Diana, and I wanted to cut human Diana out of the
artbook image with Artemis and Luna. If you'd like
to follow along with the same image, here you go!

So, first thing you're going to do is pop your image into photoshop!
During this step, feel free to edit your image however you'd like to.
I tend to just sharpen/surface blur the image
and usually save all the major coloring/editing when I do the signature.
Next, you're going to hit "q" on your keyboard.
By doing this, you've created a layer mask for your image.
It looks like this
Afterward, you'll hit "b", or open your brush setting and choose a brush
and size.
These are the settings I generally work with. I use a smaller brush
size to make sure I can get the outline details better, and a larger brush
size for basically everything else lolol
After you've done all that, just "color" all over the image you
want to make transparent. It will show up red on your layer mask.
It should look like this once you're finished.
Once you're done, you'll hit q again and it will select
everything around what you have colored. Then hit delete!
You're then left with a transparent image, ready for
any use!
