The night is dark a sliver of the moon all that hangs in the sky. A low fog clings to the evening dampened streets. The few and far between streetlights fight against the encroaching low hanging cloud, while tendrils of mist reach out,
as if almost alive. This time belongs to those that are....
other, those that move in the
night, under the cover of magic, mist, and mystery, going about their unknown duties.
A sound from above startles you, causing you to glance up. The fog seems to surge forward at your distracted attention, trying to wrap around you, swallow you with in it's light eating grip. Stumbling backwards a few steps you try to get away from what might lurk unseen with in the dense fog.
Glancing back upwards, still trying to discern what you heard, you realize it's time to head home, this is not the night to be out in, for this night doesn't belong to humans. A faint chuckle is heard from above, keeping your back to the closest street lamp you risk one more glance above you, almost afraid to see....
In the night sky, almost as dark at bats, a group of.... witches, is seen flying away, capes streaming proudly behind them, mischievous smirks barely seen in the darkness.
