[Relaxed] Chaotic Mayhem

Plot Summary: Somehow, villains from throughout the Sailor Moon Universe have found themselves recruited by Chaos to continue the fight against the powers of good. They have been called from their individual timelines, each at the peak of their evil plots, to attempt to disrupt the universal balance and tip it in the favour of darkness.

They find themselves collectively in late 20th century Tokyo, each with an important mission to carry out. Although there may be tension with fellow villains from their own timeline, most regard those unfamiliar with suspicion and rivalry. As the group tries to get to know each other, some boasting about what special tasks they have been asked to complete, they realize that the missions each group has received is exactly the same.

Their first task wrote:: Locate a very expensive, very impressive, very unusual diamond that has been in the news recently. It is not the Silver Crystal of Illusion, but it seems... suspicious. It registers to all the villains as being loaded with energy.

Steal it.

Now it's a challenge. Now it's a contest. Now they're out to prove to each other that they're the BETTER (or is it... worse?) villains that the Sailor Team has fought or will fight.

Everything about his appearance looked suspicious, despite the large opaque sunglasses that seemed backlit by the glow of his unnerving eyeglass lenses. He wore a white labcoat, to begin with, but more than that his face did not really look like a face... it remained permanently in shadow although the sun shone overhead. Only the white glow of rounds representing eyes and the red gash of a mouth could be seen on that silhouette.

Much more human-looking hands with slightly tanned skin took a crumpled sheet of paper out of his pocket and unfolded it, reading the words once again.

Steal it.

The grin seemed to widen with the repeated perusal of this letter. He swiveled his neck around, in a way that should have been distinctly uncomfortable for a normal person, and scanned the area around him. He stood on a quiet residential street, nicely-kept single-family homes lining the area, all of the children apparently at school and all of the parents at work. Who else had come with him?

Directly following her beloved Professor, Kaolinite was thinking about their mission. Not only did they have to find one special diamond in a big city like Tokyo, but also Viluy had to come with them. The red haired woman knew exactly what Viluy was up to: She was just coming with them to get the Professor for herself.

It was strange to Kaolinite that the Professor accompanied them on this mission, but just the fact that he was, was enough for her to know that this mission was very important. While she was happy to spend more time than usual with him, the importance of finding this diamond, paired with the fact that Viluy was there as well, made her very nervous. She couldn't do any mistakes, especially not with that computer geek present.

"Why are you coming with us, Viluy?", Kaolinite prepared for an insult, "Going out for once instead of spending time with your nanobots?"

Even though the insult wasn't very good, it made her feel a bit more secure and superior to Viluy. In the end SHE was still the Professor's lab assistent and she wouldn't let Viluy take that away.

"Now, now, Kaori-kun!" Professor Tomoe boomed, his voice far too loud for the sleepy suburban street the group had arrived at. "We're all in this together! We must find this strange daimon filled with energy!"

It wasn't a "daimon". It was a "diamond". Surely the man in the labcoat knew the difference. After all, they weren't even spelled with similar characters... but he seemed to be conveniently disregarding any of that. Whatever this thing was, Professor Tomoe could only imagine how it might be used for his research. He could already imagine the benefits it could bring to the Tau system and Master Pharaoh 90!

Not in a tangible way, of course. He had absolutely no idea what any sort of "benefits" might be. Energy was always useful to the group, but that seemed to have less to do with some kind of directive from their home and more to do with the experiments that a certain mad scientist constantly came up with.

Aluminum Siren

Siren blinked up at the bright sun, basking in the warmth of its rays. The sun was always such a pleasant object to behold - it was certainly one of her favorite things about Earth.

That, and the restaurants, of course. She was also quite fond of the roller coasters. And those useful cameras with their instant creation of photos! Oh, and scrapbooks, she loved the idea of scapbooks and had already started three of her very own. Crow thought she was quite strange for that, but Siren hadn't missed the blush that reddened Crow's cheeks after having found out that two of the three scrapbooks had been devoted entirely to her.

For a moment, Siren was content to stand there and think about all of the things she adored about Earth. But of course, she was not here for fun and games. She had a job to do.

Pulling out the slip of paper, Siren read over the instructions again, though she had memorized them all the first time she'd read the message.

But where to start?

Her attention was pulled towards the sound of a loud voice - how rude to yell like that! Siren turned to look, a disapproving expression on her face.

"Professor, we are looking for a Diamond, not for a Daimon. I am sure you are carrying more than enough Daimon Eggs with you... like always", Kaolinite added to her correction. Even with Viluy right behind them, she wanted to enjoy her time with the Professor and a small joke would loosen the mood. She still wasn't sure how to locate said Diamond, but to be of any use to the Professor it had to have some sort of special powers.

Kaolinite closed her eyes. She was a witch after all and locating an Energy Source shouldn't be too hard for her. She emptied her mind, only thinking about a diamond emitting energy. Suddenly an image flashed before her eyes. There it was, in some store not too far away. But was this really the Diamond they were looking for, or just Kaolinite's brain applying common sense to the situation? After all, a jewelry store was the best place to start looking.

"We should start moving Professor. I have a... feeling... that the diamond is located in a jewelry store not too far away from here."

"Ohhhhh!" echoed the Professor's obnoxiously loud sound of discovery. The glowing lenses of his frames were fixed on the blue-haired woman near them—the non-Viluy person. This was not someone the group knew—neither a member of the Death Busters nor a student at their great academy.

"A mysterious person!" he announced, seemingly ignoring Kaolinite's suggestion that they investigate a jewelry store. "Perhaps she has the Diamon D!"

(No, Professor, that was not what was written in the letter. Despite having just been corrected by his red-haired lab assistant, he was—once again, wandering off to the beat of his own drum. Those who worked with the brilliant but entirely insane scientist would not have been terribly surprised. This was a habit of his. At this point, they were somewhat resigned to the constant shenanigans.)

"You! Over there!" he called. "Do you have it?"

"Professor, stop. Are you even listening to me?", Kaolinite ran after the Professor, who wandered in a completely different direction, his eyes fixed at some woman with weird blue hair. She tried to stop him, but it was too late: he already shouted in the woman's direction.

"You can't just shout at strangers.", she tried to scold the Professor. Kaolinite also wanted to add that it would look suspicious, but then remembered that he would suspicious anyway, running around in a lab coat in the middle of city.

The red haired witch had an excuse on her lips, but swallowed it after she took a closer look at the woman, which looked even more suspicious than the Professor.

"On the contrary, Kaori-kun!" he insisted, spinning around in the quiet residential street nestled within the bustling hub of Tokyo. "How else to be sure she can hear me?"

As usual, the volume control on the bespectacled man was clearly broken. Almost everyone could hear him. The relative silence in this area (and the well-manicured trees present in some lawns of these homes) seemed beneficial to those present, if only because it helped to insulate the constantly overenthusiastic loudness of the man leading the Death Busters group.

Would the woman standing nearby notice? Would she reply? Would the Professor march right on over, ready to wave his letter at her and see if she had any answers?

That last question would have been uncomfortable for some of his subordinates to respond to, if it had been voiced aloud, given what they knew of the man.
