Thread Colors - Please Read

The Inner Senshi Admin recently had a discussion on thread colors. This pertains to both thread titles in different colors and thread posts with different than default font colors within them

Due to the feedback from all staff members, moderators, rp moderators, RP Admin and Inner Admin, we have decided it is a useful feature on the site and will not be turning it off.

That being said, while we are not making any specific rules regarding the use and regulation of colors used in titles and fonts, we have decided to request that you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take into account that this forum uses two different color schemes. We currently have a light and a dark theme that users pick on their own (lower left corner!!). That means that colors that may work for the scheme you are using may not work for the opposite color scheme. If users can not read your writing, you are likely to have people ignore or pass over your titles or posts. We don't want to see this happen, so before you consider using a font other than the default site colors, please look at the list of colors that work on both the light and dark color schemes.

Colored Titles that work on both schemes:

Dark Red - Legible on both schemes!
Red - Hard to read on the Dark scheme would not recommend.
Orange - Legible on both schemes!
Brown - Very hard to read on the Dark scheme, would not recommend.
Yellow - Very hard to read on the Light/Default scheme, would highly not recommend using.
Green - Very hard to read on the Dark scheme, would highly not recommend using.
Olive - Very hard to read on the Dark scheme, would not recommend.
Cyan - Very hard to read on the Light/Default scheme, would highly not recommend using.
Blue - Hard to read on the Dark scheme would not not recommend.
Dark Blue - Legible on both schemes!
Indigo - Hard to read on the Dark scheme would not not recommend.

Grey - Legible on both schemes!
White - Very hard to read on the Light/Default scheme, would highly not recommend using.
Black - Legible on both schemes!

There are a large number of text choices! We suggest avoiding very bright colors, similar to those list above that we do not recommend. Since there is such a large number, here are some ones that do work!
