Mercury strode back onto the stage, her sapphire mask still intact, carrying only one envelope this time. As she leaned toward the microphone, it hummed slightly with feedback, quieting the room.
“We are almost at the end of the show,” she announced. “But before that, we have to honor the very people who made all of this world possible; the Roleplay Staff Team. While Sailor Uranus, your glorious leader, will be awarding the rest, I have the honor of presenting her special, custom award, voted by everyone here. It is your voice that was engraved on this award, and for that you should be proud.”
She shifted a bit and smiled to the audience. “I have known Sailor Uranus for perhaps three years now, and she has been one of the greatest people I have ever had the joy of knowing and befriending. She always makes my day brighter with her CAPS enthusiasm, never ceases to amaze me with her creativity, and inspires me to be a better writer. She shares my passion and writing with her is always a special and memorable experience. To be honest, I can't imagine never knowing her and thank the stars every day that I made my way here and met her. You all know the Hardcore Events she's famous for, and how her ideas well never seems to run dry. I personally don't know how she does it, but some of you seem to have an idea.”
She opened the envelope now, and pressed her lips together to suppress a laugh. “And here is her very special award.”Sailor Uranus,

She cleared her throat, "Unfortunately, if you were expecting more like that, I'm afraid I'm going to disappoint you. Mercury has a gift with making people feel... feelings, and I am not that great in that department, especially with real world applications. Soooooo, hopefully we'll make do with EMBARRASSING STORIES AND SHENANIGA---what?" she looked to the side of the stage and scowled. "Okay, no embarrassing stories, can't mention stuff that was said in private conversations, yadda yadda code of conduct I get it. So then, let's see..." She shuffles the envelopes, tapping her foot as she figures out where she wants to start.
"Aha! Let's do in order of time spent consistently dealing with me as a staff member! That means first up is..."

| Congratulations to everyone! I love the animation on JTC's! Bubbles' made me laugh. XD Pluto's is so appropriate! EK's is hilarrrrious (and true!), and Saturn's is perfect both 'cause that's literally what Verdi did and 'cause... Saturn.
Also the fact that mine was awarded with a doge line ONLY MAKES IT MORE PERFECT. Very surprise much teatime WOW. |
