This idea just came up after some fellow graphic makers didn't knew about Snipping Tool, which is a VERY good tool that will help you save TIME.

So you would think 'but everyone knows this tool', think again and maybe, just maybe you could save someone's life time! so share here those mac or pc or even phone apps that will help you get things done fast in the graphic world!

Besides the snipping tool, I have another secret that i thought everyone knew about it and i was surprised when in a conversation people didn't knew, so prepare for this GIF makers because i'm gonna make your animated graphics life super EASY!!!

Ohhh thank you! That is way easier than taking an AVI from Windows Movie Maker and then importing it to PhotoShop to convert it to a GIF!

The only "secret" that I can think of right now is that I use Gyazo whenever I want to quickly upload a snapshot of my screen to share with other people for WIP progress, clarification, discussion of ideas, etc. It works like Snip Tool but it saves the image directly to the web instead. Only people with the link are able to see the image. If you make an account then you are able to manage all of your uploaded images.

I have another 'secret' that i just discovered so not sure if i could call it a secret, but this tool could be useful to everyone who has Android and Mac devices. It's called Send anywhere is sort of a dropbox/snapchat combination and you can transfer documents from PC to MAC, or Android to Iphone/ipad devices and viceversa!!! it's a free app on google play and also has a desktop version for PC and MAC!!!

Dunno if this is a secret, a lot of people do this actually, but I thought it'd be fun to share nontheless. Something I do to make a program more functional, usually GIMP in this case, is downloading scripts. They have a whole registey geared towards layer effects, animation editors, GUI customization, you name it! Personally, I like using layer fx, since it makes graphics so much easier to deal with. The animation script is good from what Ive seen, but Im still tinkering with it myself.
 
Edit: Oh yeah, I also use this website to look for color themes. Ive just found it recently, but so far I really like it!! Its great for finding ideas for how you want it to look.

I have another one of those color scheme websites, this one is from adobe and is the one i'm using more because I find it more easy to use than colourlovers.

Colourlovers have more options but for some reason I keep using this one, maybe is the UI that i find it more simple xD.

Besides Photoshop (any version will do the job) I'm gonna have to do a search here, i know Paint shop pro has an animation program but i don't know if it's free (animation shop pro), GIMP is difficult to do animations according to people that have done it.

I'm sorry, I should have been clearer. I was asking how to edit an animated gif into an already existing image. Like how you're able to make signatures with animated gifs in them. The tutorial would come in handy though if Gifcam were to ever vanish off the face of the planet. I hope it doesn't, as I'm going to start using it now.

There's this one, though personally Ive had a bit of trouble with it. Perhaps, that could be different for you though. 


It does require a script. Here's a link, the download button is at the top. Use this tutorial to add it to GIMP.

If you have photoshop in the tutorials, workshops and classes index thread have a few tutorials, including one I made in video.

Ok here's another tool that can be useful to somebody, maybe...still wanted to share it =) it's a website called Placehold.it and what does that website do you ask? well it's just a image holder, you can create any type of dimensions with this website.
