As several of our most respected graphics peeps had no idea this was a thing which Jupiter and I could not believe HERE IS A TUTORIAL ON USING...

[Tutorial] Snip It Good Snippingtool1
The Snipping Tool
Note: Windows only!

When to use it:

  • ANY TIME you feel you need to take a screenshot of something and then open up another program (like paint or photoshop) just to crop that screenshot.
  • When you want to grab just a small portion of all of your screen. See above.
  • The things I just said.


How to use it:

  • In your Windows Search bar, type "Snipping Tool"

  • Click it
  • Hit "New"

  • Select what you want on your screen
    [Tutorial] Snip It Good Snippingtool3

  • Tadaaa!


Benefits:

  • Saves time!
  • Can save right from Snipping Tool!
  • Can copy to clipboard to paste into photoshop/whatever!
  • ...?
  • Profit!


NOW GO FORTH AND SNIP IT!

Omg! I totally forgot that the Snip It tool existed until you made this tutorial. Thanks for reminding me of its existence! XD I've been using the online image hosting snippy tool Gyazo for years now. Time to switch back! lol
