Well, as many people here on GC know, I am the creator of the upcoming sixth fanseason of Sailor Moon called "Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: Strings of Fate". What people don't realize with out fanseason is that we are trying to bring a new feel to Sailor Moon. Basically, what I mean is that we are working to create a season from the ground up by creating new animation, a brand new plot with brand new villains, and it will all be in...3D!

That's right! We're basically are taking a leap of faith and bringing the popular magical girl series into a medium that really wasn't an option in the first place when it was created. We understand that if we do this, we pretty much have to do it right since we know that 3D really hasn't been appreciated in the Sailor Moon thanks to the damaging effects that the two video games did to it XD For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm referring to, here's the links to what I'm talking about:


Stating that, we have really high standards when coming to creating this fanseason into 3D. Our quality level and standards on this project is set high as we are aiming to create 3D models similar to what has been seen in the SquareEnix movie, "FF7: Advent Children". We are pretty much using the anime as a reference guide for color pallettes and modeling and nothing more. The only exception to this rule is for the possibility of making trailers as creating a 3D episode takes large amounts of time, patience, and teamwork.

Now, I know there has been questions as to what this season is about, but if you have read the Strings of Fate fanfiction I have posted on GC, then you have caught a glimpse into the first episode. Originally, when I first started planning on attempting to make this into fanseason, I wanted to see if a story such as mine would be accepted since the otaku senshi I was bringing in was techinically a "cliché senshi" and i have seen these types of character rejected just as clickly as the next senshi created. Suprisingly enough, when I first posted the story on Fanfiction.net and Deviantart, I noticed how much people were enjoying the story, either by comments or messages sent to me. Then I joined a Deviantart contest to improve on my artistic skills and once again to see the reaction of how people would react to a story around a "cliché senshi". The senshi, Sailor Silence's, got recognized a lot as people were really intrigued by her story and the little information snippets I gave out about her.

After getting the feedback I was looking for, I decided to go ahead and attempt to make a 3D season. While I still plan to continue on writing the fanfiction, I only plan to write up to where episode 1 would end and stop until I had finish the series (if all goes as plan). While I am still trying to keep the element of surprise to what the true twist to the story is to the story itself, there are some things that I don't mind revealing about the series itself.

So here's the gist of "Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: Strings of Fate":

"Five years has passed since the defeat of Galaxia and peace has returned to the world, thanks to the many efforts of our heroines, Eternal Sailor Moon and her senshi. Our heroines have gone on with their lives either continuing with school, finishing school, or fighting for the passion of once lost dreams. They have grown as people and have excelled from where they previously were five years ago. While peace seemed to be promising, unfortunately, it does not last.

Predating those of the Dark Kingdom, a new enemy rises from the darkness that they have been lurking in for so long, waiting to clench the thirst of the need of revenge. Beginning their attack, they begin to hunt down individuals who carry a specific type of soul -- a Celestial Soul -- in order to carry out their revenge against the White Moon and her court.

In wake of the new enemy though, a new soldier emerges with the likeness of Saturn who appears to be familiar with the enemy. In shock to the Senshi, the enemy refers to this new soldier as "The Assassin Senshi". Instead of showing kindness to Sailor Senshi, her intention appears cold and crude, treating the Sailor Senshi as if they were enemies as well. The only advice she gives them about the enemy is to stay out of this fight followed up by a threat informing them that she will tie up "loose" ends if they plan to get in their way.

While this new enemy claims to predate the Dark Kingdom, not one of the Sailor Senshi, not even Sailor Pluto, can remember this enemy.

Who is this enemy that holds revenge against the White Moon and the her court? Who is this unknown senshi that the enemy calls "The Assassin Senshi"? What will Sailor Moon and the Sailor Senshi do to maintain peace?"

At the present time, I am currently working on finishing the script for episode one while also working with two other 3D modelers (one permanent and other temporary) on creating the environments, which takes a lot of time. When it comes down to it, episode one will probably take the longest to release as we literally have to create everything from scratch (i.e.: environment, characters, props, etc). We are also working on creating a official trailer for Strings of Fate that we hope to release next month in time for the anniversary. While there won't be any 3D footage included, it will have completed illustrations and other effects to make it qualify more for a trailer verses our evil teaser trailer.

So as we get further along with trailers and such, I'll be sure to update this thread about it next to our Facebook Like page. And as always, I love questions so I will be happy to answer them but to keep the element of surprise I won't be revealing too much of the story line. ^^

In the end, we decided to keep the role open in hopes to bring in other people who may want to audition for her. ^^ A new audition video should be up soon as we still have additional characters to cast, the villains, as well as Sailor Saturn (who wasn't casted as well). Other than that, here is our cast so far!

Hehe ^^ Well, we are actually still looking for a Sailor Moon va and will be putting up a audition video for her (and Saturn) separate from this audition video. ^^ As for the voice, we are actually looking for original voice who can pull off the personality - basically, we're not looking for any imitations. ^^

There is no release date for episode one since everything is being created from scratch in 3D. I and one other person (possibly a second now ^^) are currently working on the 3D enviroment which is what litterally takes the longest to complete (in essence, we have to model Tokyo in 3D XD). We hope to have some things to show soon though ^^

We're casting voice actors now though because the voice actors will have storyboards and animatics to go on while getting familiar with the script. ^^ That way, when it comes to actually recording for the characters, they'll be more familiar with the script.

Now recruiting staff!! ^^

And the audition video casting for Sailor Moon, Sailor Saturn and Diana are now up ^^
