I'm going to be really unpopular by saying this, but I noticed a huge drop in the quality of animation, and the episode wasn't really that good. :/

I know that they can't deviate much from the manga, but after the last episode, I somewhat expected something more. :/

Also, I was right about them going the tentative route with the Dreams Arc. They're leaving it open (with a heaping dose that it will happen), but in case it doesn't, they didn't leave us hanging (ie. No Pegasus).

I was getting so excited (as in I could literately feel myself shaking) when it seemed they might reveal Pegasus in this episode...but alas, it didn't happen. OTL Not surprised though, since no seiyuu for Helios has been announced, much less a formal announcement for the Dream arc has been made. But this little glimmer of hope is enough (for now) for me. :')

As for the rest of the episode, I did notice they used quite a bit of existing footage, especially for the part where Super Sailor Moon awakens inside Pharaoh 90, it was basically a cut version of her transformation, which I thought was kinda odd. Also, the Outer Senshi literately just disappear into the wind. I kinda wanted them to do the scene in the manga where the girls run to find their apartments empty, but I guess that would've eaten into the time for the intro of the Dream arc

Whilst it had some ups and downs, I absolutely loved it. Once again SMC has not failed to give me several emotions throughout the episode, I loved it! I suppose the pacing was a bit off, but Sailor Moon's revival with the song and their costume change, it was magnificent! Also, you can never fail to love Chibi Moon in this incarnation because she's just absolutely adorable! Whilst I am disappointed they didn't include everything from the manga, I suppose as mangaka-chan had said, it would cut to air time. Since it was the final episode I was hoping it would be half an hour... but it's all good. The animation did drop quite a bit, because I noticed there were some less than pleasing shots of Saturn, but majority was pretty so I won't make too much of a fuss about it, I guess they really spent most of the budget for Saturn's introduction, which I wouldn't blame them, I think everyone wanted it to be beautiful. 

But overall, it was a great ending to the season, I have no complaints, I loved it and I love their matching uniforms, it's super cute.

Speaking of uniforms, is Neptune's skirt different from that of the other outers?

I noticed that her skirt was much shorter than theirs in the last few scenes of the Outers. :/

Also, I agree I was put off by the rather off shots of Saturn. She was so graceful in the last episode, but alas, at least her intro was beautiful. Today's episode made her look like the Saturn featured on Mistress 9 promo pic. :/

The stock footage irked me, but hopefully that's redrawn for the DVD. It was half expecting that she'd become Eternal Sailor Moon... But alas, she became 90s anime version NQS, but with a different dress... :/

Something that did strike me was Michiru granting ChibiUsa SL Serenity (Could they not give her a better name?) her Deep Aqua Mirror. Isn't that an extension of herself, how could ChibiUsa wield it?

I really hope they continue on and don't leave it at that teaser for the dream arc!

I think Neptune's skirt is the same... I think it's Uranus' uniform that's different because her back bow matches her skirt's colour (not very complimentary). I think it was just the animation, but her skirt is very much the same as the others.

Yeah the stock footage was a bit odd, but it was a few seconds so I don't necessarily mind. What irks me is their constant use of 90s NQS. I get it, blonde Serenity is pretty, but blonde Serenity is PRINCESS Serenity in Crystal and Manga, whilst silver haired Serenity is NQS, so please just stick with it. Ugh, annoys me so much that they're doing that, making it a lot more confusing to tell the two apart. Like their outfits are already the same, so if they were gonna go with 90s NQS just stick with the outfit so there's less confusion jeez cuz both of them being blonde is just not cool.

I think Michiru granting it to Chibiusa wasn't for the purpose of wielding it, but more of like a token of promise to return. The mirror technically isn't as important now since Sailor Saturn's host is currently under their care, so technically they can easily prevent Saturn's awakening without the use of talismans, so I guess she just decided to give it to Chibiusa as a token of friendship.

i thought this was a good episode. I think it will lead up to the Dream Arc...but I feel like the timeline is off. Wasn't everyone in High School in stars? and Mamoru was in college as well? Or am i remembering things different.


Overall I thought it was a great episode. Glad to see things are happy (for now) once again.

Really good episode!! i'm very pleased of how things ended except for the teaser, so well played new director, well played.

Animation was pretty good in my opinion i kind of feel inspired and do some graphics <3.

People forgot that as in difference of the '90's anime which has a very different timeline, the girls get into high school in dreams arc i already checked the manga and saw minor differences but 90% of the episode was on point.

Can't wait for Dreams arc to begin (hopefully next fall season)

I just binge watched the last few episodes. Absolutely loved it! I'll admit I cried a few times. I thought the animation was passable. I loved the dark swirling sky, though I do wish things were more detailed.

I thought this episode was good overall, it made for a good close to the Infinity arc. Especially with that bombastic battle with Saturn and Moon! My only problem was that it went by a bit too quickly for my tastes, but I feel it simply reflects the fast paced nature of the manga. I also LOVED the scene where the inners and outers were parting (I know it sounds odd but hear me out). To me, I really felt that they were a team, through the dialogue and acting performance. This really sealed this for me when Pluto and Chibimoon got a heartfelt moment that fans were asking for.

Animation was fine in some scenes, especially with the attention to detail on the hair. Some shots were recycled, which was apparent when they cut to the senshi's reactions. There were a few iffy shots, especially profile ones. But as it is, the animation was good.

Comedy scenes were great with Usagi being teased on getting into highschool. I also noticed Makoto talking about the exams being hard. Maybe its a reference to one of the side stories? I dunno.

So, I was super excited about the dream arc starting, its one of my favorite arcs btw, and I was legit screaming when I hear bells. I'm like, "PEGASUS IS COMING OMG!". Then Toei pulls a cliffhanger on us. Alright, I see you Toei, trying to play with our heartssss!! Lol

No but seriously, great finale. This season was great and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us!

Well, it was highly enjoyable. 

Pros: 
* Sailor Saturn and the end of the Death Busters
* Some of the animation was just beautiful.
* Usagi celebrating becoming a high schooler, then her friends dragging down her mood. A nice fun contrast after all the drama before. Shows Usagi is still herself, even after all she struggled with.

Cons:
* Give slight but indefinitive hope of the Dream arc. I believe it will happen, but some confirmation would be fantastic. (Why would they even bother with the Solar Eclipse if Dream wasn't on the table)

I loved the episode! The fight with Saturn/Moon with Pharoah 90 was amazing! The scene with NQS is correct as they said earlier that NQS' hair turns white AFTER she gives birth to Chibi-Usa at age 22 so I really think that it is correct, they just need to fix the flashbacks to white with Chibi-Usa as she had her already.

I love the Outers so much more in this season than in the 90s, and the relationship with Usagi/Haruka, seeing it animated, I was over the moon! I love them so much more than ever now!

According to the manga, Chibiusa is supposed to get a lot taller when she transforms into Sailor Chibimoon and then shrink back to size after transforming back. SMC might have applied this fact to some episodes and neglected it in others. If anything, it would make more sense for her to be taller in this episode because she should be able to mature now that she has become, as she phrases it, a "full fledged senshi". The reason she couldn't grow in the first place was because her powers had not been awakened yet. 

I am still stressed out about Neo Queen Serenity's hair being blonde. I just hope that the blu-ray changes her hair to white in the flashbacks with Chibiusa so the theory about her hair turning white after giving birth is confirmed. Regardless, this was a wonderful scene! I loved Mamoru's reaction when he made the connection between Usagi and the Messiah from his dream.

They did the best they could with the manga material. But I do wish they'd expanded it, because as we all know the manga doesn't offer much explanation for things. I would have liked, for example, for the Outers to just not suddenly pick up baby Hotaru and decide "We'll be her parents!" "Okay". I mean, that kind of decision doesn't happen willy-nilly in real life? Why? No one is even the slightest bit confused or questions things and then Haruka's just "We'll go far or near I guess" ?? So much vague stuff that could have just been fleshed out with one or two more lines of dialogue. The manga's tendency to have things happen randomly is my least favorite part, so this part bugged me.

I did enjoy the portrayal of everything else, though, and I really liked the ending with the girls entering high school. The first part even almost mirrors the 90s anime which brings back nostalgia. And Usagi being made fun of was hilarious. Minako pls

I personally loved the episode. Obviously they couldn't show everything from the manga and that is okay with me. It seems really unimportant to me personally to nit pick at some animation errors.

It's pretty clear that they're doing a fourth season, but want to leave it on a cliff hanger. The fact that we "don't know" what they're looking at seems like a pretty big implication.

Finally was able to watch it! I feel rather content with the ending and the arc as a whole. I'm very happy to see the Outer Senshi in Crystal...

After the outers left, I was very confused as to what would happen next, as it has been a while since I've read Infinity. But once they started to continue after the commercial break it made more sense. I began to get very excited towards the end and was a little bit let down when they didn't continue fully. But I do suppose it made sense. Here's hoping they will in face continue with the Dream Arc!

I was watching the end with my mother, as we tend to watch Crystal together, and my little brother ran in when he saw what was going on and yelled out 'Helios!' What? I totally didn't have him read Sailor Moon so I could have someone to talk to about it.  And my mother, who hasn't read the manga or seen the 90's anime was very confused.

I loved this ending and I thought it was beautiful.   I had been waiting to see Saturn's final battle with Pharaoh 90 animated for years since I first read the manga way back when I was still in high school.  I loved all the scenes with the Outers and seeing Chibi Moon become friends with Neptune and Pluto's beautiful but sad farewell scene.  I was also totally hyped about the beginning of the Dream arc and seeing the Inners being in high school.  The scenes of the girls giving Usagi a hard time about her grades and Usagi talking about the manga club was so cute and funny.  I'm so excited to finally see an accurate adaptation of the Dream arc and I hope we won't have to wait too long for it.
