Hi, everyone !

I'm GhostKnight but you can call me GK, it's shorter. I'm french canadian, so forgive me if I do some mistakes.

I first came across Sailor Moon when I was six years old. I loved to follow the adventures of those school girls who transformed into soldiers to protect the Earth. I ended up putting it aside, though still liking it until I was a teenager where I discovered PGSM. When they announced that they would make Crystal, I regained an interest for the old 90s series. It's after that that I saw the other adaptations, including old and new Myus. I love watching animes and cartoons, I love making graphics and drawing, playing video games and LARPing. I sew both as a hobby and professionally.
I can't wait to meet all of you ~

Hello, GhostKnight!  I had to investigate when I noticed a Subject line in French here.  J'ai suivi quatres années de français au lycée (did I write that correctly?).  But I've forgotten quite a bit of what I learned there in the intervening decades   (the one disadvantage of living where I live - I hardly ever get the chance to practice my French conversational skills in the Real World).

Anyway, I see you've discovered the large selection of emoticons here, and even started having some fun using them - congratulations!

The one question I have for you is that I'm curious why Neptune is your favorite senshi.  Would you mind explaining this?  Well, I just thought of a second one   .  Do you have any other anime or manga titles that you like?

Welcome to the forums! I'm an artist too, can't sew that much though  ! Do you draw more traditionally or digitally? I do more digital stuff now in photoshop myself but I still love sketching on paper.

Welcome to the forums GK. XD GK, EK, now we need FK and HK and the rest. yess. So since you sew...does tha t mean you cosplay? I'd love to see some of your outfits! I think people that can sew are so talented. Btw what other cartoons are you into besides SM? Right now I'm into My Little Pony, Miraculous Ladybug and Steven Universe (and rewatching the 90s Batman series its sooo good, even today.)

Andi: Nice to meet you! Yes, I've seen the guilds and the sections with my mentor. I want to join some, including the art and cosplay one. I will post some of my works, eventually, and maybe some tutorials.

SmallLady: Yes, I do cosplay too. I've done some for me and for friends.
Right now, I'm watching Nurarihyon no mago. I watch mostly fantastic and sci-fi mostly animes and cartoons like Star Wars clone wars, DC and Marvel series/movies, blue exorcist, Sakura Card Captor, Gurren Lagann and many others. I have to continue to watch MLP too, it's been a long time since I've watched it.

Yes, GhostKnight, I agree that Neptune is usually quite classy & mature, whether dealing with problems or other issues.  That's why she has started growing on me recently (not that I disliked her before, but IMHO she has started to emerge in a positive direction from the doldrums of the other senshi that I don't have strong feelings about one way or the other).

I hope you don't mind me asking you one more question that I thought of earlier tonight (just after I discovered your latest reply in this thread).  How did you first discover Sailor Moon?  For example, in my case, I saw commercials for it on Cartoon Network while watching my favorite American cartoon (Scooby Doo) back around 1999, when (as I later found out) that cable channel had just acquired the rights to air the English dubbed version of the last part of R season of the anime title.  These commercials got me very interested in this title that I had never heard of before, so I just had to tune in at the time they were promoting.  And I guess you could say the rest is history.

How did I miss this? Welcome to the forum! I do hope EK didn't give you TOO bad of an impression of this forum, we're not that bad.

My fiance and I are just getting into Clone Wars, its sooo much better than I thought it would be. Trying to finish it so we can move on to Rebels since that has some ties with the newest Star Wars movie coming out this year. Too bad he's got like a million shows he wants to watch, it will take us forever to watch it hahaha xD

Yeah, I admit the attitude of those two was annoying in S season of the 90s anime.  But the way I saw it, their actions during this season gave me quite a bit more reason to dislike Uranus than Neptune.  See, Neptune hardly ever expressed frustration towards (any of) the inner senshi; she just silently sat back as Uranus took out her frustrations on them.  So she virtually never went past showing silent agreement with her partner, whereas I thought Uranus was in-your-face to the inner senshi way too much.

And even though I've never been able to tune in to YTV, I had heard of it, thanks to the (unfortunately recently vanished from the internet) website called Castle in the Sky - Sailor Moon.  It was a website designed to provide information, and answer questions, about the original Japanese version of SM to those who had only seen the English dub.  I first discovered it back in 1999 or so, very soon after I first started watching the English version of the dub on cable TV here in the United States.  This website mentioned Cartoon Network and YTV as the cable channels in the US and Canada, respectively, that showed SM back around the turn of the century; and upon further investigation, I found out this website was written/created/edited by a Canadian.
