Hi everyone~ My name's Spiral-Star (you can call me Dani too if you want :3) and I'm new to the forums. Some random fun facts about me: 

I'm a 22 year old freelance illustrator (or trying to be anyway, haha) and Sailor Moon is why I started drawing! I mostly do digital art but I like to sketch with pencil and watercolor sometimes too.
My fav charas are Chibi-Moon and Hotaru, but let's be real everyone is p. awesome 
I know some Japanese but not a whole lot. If you wanna be study buddies hit me up! I use the Genki books but I have the Minna no Nihongo ones too.
I really like to talk with people, so feel free to message whenever! Some other things I'm into are Pokemon, Miraculous Ladybug, and Cardcaptor Sakura. 
I really really like stars. I can't name or point out any constellations but I just think space and stuff is super cool and pretty~

Hello Dani im stephen or sportsnutd whichever you wish to call me. I noticed you into pokemon and CCS. I think were still in the middle of an CCS stream in the schedule but i think its nearing the end. I don't know though so don't quote me on that. Which Pokemon games have you played and are you planning on getting Sun or Moon (Or Both?)

My forum name is Haine but my real life nickname is Maru and some friends call me Maruhi~
I'm more than happy to see another illustrator person around, I'm trying to learn adobe illustrator by myself (at least know it like the palm of my hand like i know photoshop) all of this because i'm planning to learn in  90 days how to draw, well the basics at least (haven't started tho).

Saturn is my fave outer senshi too! =D! we have that in common! and I studied Japanese for 5 years but I always had issues trying to talk normally and it's been more than 4 years that i haven't practiced, so we could help each other!

Let's mention some cool stuffs you can find around here, we have our regular Artist section and our guilds, guilds are a special forum for special content and tutorials, and if you like, you can also teach/do a tutorial on how to do anything! Also i was wondering if you have seen the live action version or any musical?

Addelyn- I'll be sure to check those out! You gotta catch up! Stuff gets so good towards the end of the season. Adrinette has stolen my heart omg.

Stephen- Oh is there like a group stream thing here? That sounds cool! And I've played pretty much all of them aside from like that Samurai one and Pokken. I'm planning on getting Sun and I can't wait to see the starters and trainers. The concept art that came out looked so beautiful. Also, Gold is my favorite and was the first one I ever played :3. 

Eternal Knight- Thank you! Favorite villains hmmm does Amazoness Quartet Count? Haha. I've always thought Nehelania's and Galaxia's backstories were interesting so probably those two ^^. Tv shows I'm currently obsessed with Jane the Virgin and Crazy- Ex Girlfriend omg. I can't get enough. I've been trying to get into K-dramas more recently too but I've only seen Coffee Prince and Playful Kiss. Books vary but my favorites are Elsewhere, Glass Castle, Harry Potter.I tend to lean towards teen romance novel/ coming of age books but it’s hard to find something different. Oh, and I liked The Long Goodbye by Raymond Chandler and mystery novels in general. Movies I’m very very behind on, unless it’s animated. Like, I haven’t seen the Matrix that’s how bad I am >>. Fav movie is Kiki’s Delivery Service for sure.

Andi- I use photoshop for my personal work, and I use illustrator at my job (I work at a screen-printing company). I’d love to use Sai but I have a mac so I can’t :

I really recommend skillshare, that’s where I watch art tutorials and where I learned how to use the basics of illustrator. I can send you a free month trial if ya want!

You and me are gunna be buddies. xD  If you are interested in the Artist/Cosplayer Guild you can read a bit about it here and theres a link on how to join! We sure would love to see some more tutorials. And video stuff would be awesome! IF you mean by video tutorials? or video editing? Whatever it is, feel free to post it. xD Also feel free to start up a thread showing off your stuff in the Artists Section!

SO SOUNDS LIKE WE GOTTA SET YOU STRAIGHT. If you need help with the musicals and where to start, just ask me! This older thread here has some good suggestions.  Personally for me, I think a good starting show is the 1996 Spring - SuperS - Dream Soldiers (Revised Version) musical. It is the SuperS story with a spin based around the anime and manga. And because its my website and I have to plug it, you can download all of the recorded shows at seaofserenity.net!  The only one we don't have up yet is the newest one Un Nouveau Voyage. Seramyuantics.net has them up to just stream from their site and I believe Miss Dream has quite a few translated, including the newest one.

Annnnywwaaayyy I could totally talk my head off about Myu to you but I might scare you off with my obsession enthusiasm. xD

YES PLEASE EDUCATE ME! I'll try and watch your recommendation soon :3! The SuperS manga storyline is my fav (except for maybe the Infinity arc? Honestly they're both A++++)  so I'm sure I'll love it.

I also recommend:
1999 Sping - The Legend of Kaguya Island and its Revised version (1999 Summer).

Those two are original Post-Stars stories if you are looking for brand spanking new content!

1998 - Winter - Eien Densetsu (The Eternal Legend) (Revised Version) is also really good and very interesting twist on the Stars story and its really its own entity. After those you can certainly pick and choose musicals to watch. THe only ones that need to be watched in order are the Dracul Series ones (2000 Winter Last Dracul thru 2001 Spring - Death Vulcan).

SInce you also like Infinity, you might enjoy "Mugen Gakuen ~ Mistress Labyrinth" and its twist on that arc. (The first version has the best Haruka and Michiru ever).

If you are a manga fan, you might enjoy the 3 new musicals starting with La Reconquista as they are more stricter adaptations of the manga (i'm just such a hard core older myu fan that the new ones weren't really my cup of tea..but i wont' get into that haha xD).

Now I'm wanting to add in more myu to the livestream schedule mwuahaha. xD

Can we be bestest friends 5ever now? loolll BUT YEAH the manga version is so good I love Chibi-usa's character development and just everything ahh. Also the artwork really improved in that arc too.

Thank you (and thanks Andalusite) for the guild welcome! And yeah I drew the avatar :3. I was super excited to join and instead of sleeping for work  drew it the night I signed up!
