We have fans that adore the manga, adore the anime, adore the live action, adore the musicals and adore the games!

Well, what are your favorite emotional scenes? I've been going through some new series and I'm in love with the more emotional scenes that really bring a certain flair to life.

Whether it makes you want to cry, makes you want to sequel with happiness, makes you incredibly angry or just makes you audibly express your emotion with "awwh" what are the scenes in your favorite Sailor Moon series that are just so emotional, they have become treasured memories of your favorite sagas?

I think some of my favourite emotional scenes are when the Senshi die for whatever reason it is in that scenario. It's always gut wrenchingly sad. Case in point Uranus and Neptune's Death in the Stars Arc in the 90s anime.

I agree 100% and when it comes to the angry part you all know I despise MIO in PGSM..i just don't like her

Sailor Saturn sacrificing herself and Sailor Moon having an emotional break down in the anime.

Scenes that made me angry.

Any time Mamoru was mean to Usagi, especially during the break up. Anime only.

When Usagi's Dream Mirror was broken. Anime only of course.

That guy from the R movie.

Scenes that made me so happy my face hurt!

Rei and Usagi's banter in the anime! Best friends.

Minako and Ami's banter in the anime! Ami gets so drained and Minako is forever perky. It's funny when they interact. Reminds me of Washu and Mihoshi from Tenchi Muyo.
Haruka almost always in the manga

The saddest, for me at least, is the scene in Stars when Usagi actually confesses how much she misses Mamoru on the school rooftop to Seiya.  Everytime I watch that scene I tear up.

After Mamoru broke up with Usagi and she went and cried in the telephone booth saying how now she can't bring him over to have dinner with her parents . . . that hit me way too hard

My most-emotional scenes are all from the 90s anime, because that is the only version I have gotten into much - and I have watched virtually all 200 episodes of it.

The two that stand out in my mind are both scenes that make me so sad that I almost cry - even when I re-watch that scene.  And I hardly ever cry.

In second place is a scene that was already teased in this thread.  It is the one where Nephrite dies in Naru's arms - in the original season, of course.

But the one scene that gets to me the most and brings me closest to the crying threshold (each time) has not even been hinted at yet.  It gets to me the most probably because I am such a big fan of Ami/Mercury.  It is the part of episode 62 - which is in the Dark Moon story-arc of R season - where Ami is in Tokyo's Narita airport, about to leave for Germany, and that emotional song is playing in the background.  And I'm referring to both the English dubbed version and the original Japanese version, because both of the original Japanese song and the dubbed-in English song are really powerful.
