| Advanced Character Profile Character Name: Wisteria FloresGender: FemaleAge and Date of Birth: 23; May 15Appearance: Wisteria is considered a tall beauty, standing at 6’5’’ many consider her to be much older than she actually is. Her proportions are thicker but slightly muscular as well giving her the appearance of an amazon warrior. Her bust and waist are wide (the waist being the widest), though her waist is narrower and curves into an pear-shaped physique. She has chestnut brown hair with auburn streaks if the sun is shining just right. Her hair is full of luscious coiling curls that grazes at her waist. She often puts her hair in a high ponytail with a homegrown hibiscus flower. If she prefers to dress up, she can be seen wearing her hair down with a Wisteria flower crown.Her skin tone is slightly darker than that of her sisters. Many have mistook her for appearing to be of Dominican origin, though she has simply inherited her complexion from her late mother. To compliment her features, she uses natural toned makeup in shades of browns and sandy colors. Most days she wears mascara, light-weight foundation, and pink tinted lip balm for the “girl next door look”.Clothing wise, Wisteria wears comfortable bohemian styles. She especially likes to wear tribal-patterned or flower-printed maxi skirts and dresses with loose fitting blouses and tanks. On colder days, she prefers comfortable cardigans with cotton weaved tops from various thrift stores. Her motto is “casual yet cultural” and she enjoys trying out various styles from all parts of the world. Her features are pleasant and motherly, forest green eyes reassuring anyone who comes across her. She can always be seen with a slightly bemused face and giggling at the small pleasures of life.Personality: Wisteria is a person dedicated to environmentalism. Planting flowers of many types is her specialty, she always has a different plant from the many places she visits. Her largest batch grows in the Spring, the season Wisteria enjoys the most.Though if there’s one thing she dislikes it’s winter. All the plants are in a deep slumber, forced to hide their inner beauty from everyone. It does not feel fun to her at all to sit and stare at such a dreary atmosphere. Much like them, she must confine herself to her warm home when she’d much rather spend time outdoors. An echo to her finicky nature, she found it difficult to stay in one place for too long. Once the warmer air ushers in, Wisteria is already out and about. During this time, she enjoys camping in the secluded parts of town, where all the woods are dense and budding with different shades of green. Though relaxing, Wisteria cannot stand the spiders that roam the place. Those hairy legs prickling her skin give her the "eebie-jeebies", as she calls it. Luckily, the tricks she learned from her father came in handy, making her tent spider-proof. On her nature outings, she often spends time observing plants and their behaviors. If she stared long enough, she could almost hear them, just faintly, speak to one another. She often tries to capture the moment with her set of watercolors. Art is another one of her passions and she finds it very simple to let go and just "be" when painting. Someday she aspires to study the science of nature, hoping to use this information to understand the reason why plants behave like they do and hopefully show this beauty to others. Children especially give her the most joy! She cannot get enough of their innocent, wide eyes or the baby soft features. They are absolutely mesmerizing, which is why she takes time out each day and works with children at her local community center. There the children muse that she’s like a “second mother” to them and always gift with warm hugs and kisses on the cheek. Like the role model she is, Wisteria teaches children the importance of integrity in all areas of life: from schoolwork to the environment. Some days she spends planting carrots in the greenhouse, while on other days she’s tutoring kids who need extra help in school. She urges them to keep moving forward and never feel down when times get tough. She had struggled much in her own life, and she does not wish for others to experience the same. Wisteria simply cannot understand the reasoning behind Math, no matter how important it may be to her studies. She absolutely loathes it, so much so that she rarely says the word itself! Her teachers in the past would constantly mark Fs on her classwork, homework, quizzes...you name it, she failed. All those twisting numbers and unknown letters confused her, especially with those specific steps she had to memorize. It was all too much and she would much prefer if math were just easier! Regardless, she still tries to excel in the subject, even if it may take a bit longer than most.Helping others is an instinct to Wisteria. She gives equal treatment to not only nature, but to humans as well. If she sees a homeless person asking for a few coins, Wisteria will gladly give them as much as they need. It’s a necessary thing to provide to everyone, she feels, and giving that one glimmer of hope is what makes others stronger. Although, sometimes her kindness can get the best of her and she can become a bit of a doormat. Countless years of teasing have forced Wisteria to tolerate any negative remark against her. At some point, it led to people whom she trusted taking her kindness for granted and using it to their advantage. It’s an endless cycle that Wisteria continues to struggle with and one that she must overcome. Though unbeknownst to her, inside lurks the soul of a warrior, one that is destined to protect the Earth. She is resilient and durable like the ground she walks upon and will not let the forces in her life stop her from allowing beauty to reign forth once again.Any Unique Abilities/Skills:

History: Life hasn’t always been easy for Wisteria, ever since she could remember her parents always struggled to make ends meet. As college dropouts, both worked aimlessly in various odd jobs just to make their precious Wisteria happy. Often times, she would come home and see that neither of her parents were home, it was saddening, yes, but at least she had her older brother to care for her.Her older brother, Abel, always made sure that his little sister always had something to do. Since there was no television in the home, the two would always play fairy tale stories like Cinderella or The Princess and the Frog. Wisteria would always be the princess and her older brother her trusted animal friend. Wisteria always felt closer to her older brother, knowing that she could rely on him to make her smile.As the two grew older, however, Abel started focusing more on schoolwork and less on his family. Wisteria knew it was because he wanted to go to college, but she still felt lonely with no one to hang out with. At school, the other kids thought she was “weird” for talking to plants and disliked her. She’d often spend her time walking around the playground staring at the scenery of kids being rowdy. Each day, the small pebble in her heart grew and grew until she couldn’t handle it anymore.One day, when Wisteria was barely 10 years of age, her mother and father saw her crying in bed. When asked what was wrong, Wisteria weeped about the things others said about her appearance, calling her "ugly" and a "fake". Many knew that her olive toned skin strayed far from the paler skin her parents had. Girls in her class would touch her hair saying it felt like "furball" due to its deep waves and slight curl. Her mother and father had tried calming her down, they told her that she was indeed precious and beautiful and not at all weird. Though, Wisteria didn’t believe them. "Why me?", she wailed. Her parents glanced at one another, knowing what it is they had to say next. Tentatively, her mother told her that she only looked different was because the loving parents she knew had adopted her. Before her mother said more of her Wisteria's birth parents, the small child eyes locked in shock before narrowing to a squint. Angrily, she rushed out of her room and ran outside of the house to somewhere secluded. The young girl eventually found herself in a small meadow rich with various flowers. She immediately fell to the ground and weeped uncontrollably, letting all her tears fall to the soil. Each tear glimmered on the ground and somehow awoke the mysterious meadow. All of a sudden, the flowers started to grow and let their stems embrace Wisteria. Wisteria was in awe, were these flowers taking care of her? The flowers continued to lift her, letting their magic bring her to a state of serenity and glee. Once done, the flowers set her down to the ground. There someone was awaiting her presence. Wisteria set her eyes on a small kitten, about the size of a lunch tote. It was beautiful, it’s orange fur glistening in the sunset. Eyes glowed as the kitten made contact with Wisteria. The girl stayed put, not wanting to frighten the kitten. Though the kitten was not afraid at all! Instead it meowed happily and leaped into Wisteria’s lap, purring as the small girl embraced it.She looked at the kitten for a moment, feeling a connection between the two. It was as if she had known this animal for a long time...but she did not know how or when. “Artemis”, she aloud. For some reason, the name sounded right for the kitten. Eerily, the cat leaped away and disappeared in a flash. Wisteria was confused and saddened, but she vowed never to forget the kitten and the flowers.Years later, Wisteria was now 22 years of age and she was now felt an increasing energy spike. She had learned many things ever since she met Artemis the kitten, such as how to communicate with plants better, one of her newfound powers. She didn’t understand how she could be able to do so, maybe it had something to do with those recurring visions she had ever since she was 10. In them she would see this mature warrior woman summoning the powers of nature whilst battling this godlike creature. Such an amazing sight it was, though she didn’t think much of it. She had other priorities in her life, such as starting up her art gallery. She was planning on moving to New York City to get a fresh start and study Botany and Visual Art. Wisteria had settled into her new life in the city. It was very much different from the small town she grew up in, streets were filled with people of varying colors. Still, the city managed to have a beautiful patch of land that people could relax on. She often visited this place, basking in the sunlight while sitting on a bench. One day, as she was sitting, she saw something peculiar in one of the trees across from her. Wisteria walked over and noticed a single flower, dangling from this tree. It was lavender in color and contrasted against the green leaves. A Wisteria, she concluded, and touched the flower. Immediately images clouded her mind of an unknown planet and a male silhouette attaining power. Terrifying as it was, Wisteria felt like it was all too familiar. When she regained consciousness, she noticed a feline appear out of nowhere.The orange-furred cat, walked over to Wisteria, eyes pulsating towards her. Atlas Ashwin was a loving father who would do anything to protect his daughters. When each of his daughters were born, he made the decision to put them up for adoption. He knew that his daughters were special. Him and his daughters were all reincarnations of warriors from Taurus. If all of them were together they'd be easy to locate because their powers would awaken and they'd be hunted down and killed. The only daughter he kept by his side was Amber, his second daughter. When his first child was born he was very young and couldn't afford to take care of her. After his last daughter was born his wife, Pleione, died from childbirth. Years had passed and although Amber knew about her sisters, her father forbade her to search for them. He knew of the consequences of them finding each other, but never told Amber. Some days after Amber's 21st birthday her father passed away from a heart attack.
Amber's father had been protecting them from a man named Orion. He took over Taurus when her and her family's previous incarnations had died. Through the years he became the most powerful warrior in all of Taurus. Orion is currently ruling over Taurus. No one could defeat him, but he knew when Atlas and his family would be born again one of those girls was going to be the rightful heir to the throne of Taurus. She would be known as the Lost Pleiad. She would have a powerful star seed that could help her destroy Orion. But Orion knew if he could kill all of the girls and take their powers he could become the rightful king.
After the death of their father Atlas Ashwin, his seven daughters were awoken as senshi. As each of his daughters were awoken they were drawn to each other in New York City, and Orion was drawn to their energy. With the help of their guardian and teacher Artemis, the girls slowly learned how to use their powers. When Artemis trains them she tells them they are all reincarnations of warriors from Taurus. They are powerful and will forever be chased by Orion. One of them is the lost Pleiad, the rightful heir to the throne of Taurus. She is the most powerful warrior with a special star seed that can destroy Orion, if he doesn't get it first.
Wisteria, the eldest daughter of Atlas Ashwin, began to experience premonitions from age 10 onwards. The images depicted various figures from a tall woman to a man clad in armor protecting the people he cared for dearly. Though Wisteria does not know that her visions are actually true events and that the man appearing in them was her own father. Her parents have told of her birth father, saying that he had loved her very dearly but gave her up to protect her. While she knows her father's decision was so that she could live, she feels somewhat betrayed that her father left her for a harder life. The mystery surrounding her origins is a daunting one and she hopes that her role as Sailor Maia will allow her to put the pieces together.

Sailor Maia’s fuku is a blend of a minimalistic yet somewhat glaring attire to be both fashionable and practical for fighting. It consists of an ombre pattern of olive green to chartreuse with beige to contrast against it. Her skirt and shoes are marked with her signature color while both the front and back bows are the secondary color. To accent the pastel green, she wears gold bracelets on both wrists that cover her open gloves and gold earrings as well. To highlight her pompadour hairstyle, she wears a gold flower crown encircling her ponytail. Her tiara lies on her forehead and has a green jewel similar to the color of her skirt. She does not wear a collar, instead having the Amulet of Maia as replacement. Powers:
- Seed Blast- Sailor Maia embraces herself with an array of flowers and dances as her hands gather seeds. The seeds encircle her body, gaining momentum, and are then released in a powerful vortex.
- Floral Lance- With her hands, she molds a vine into piercing yet ornate lance. It has curved leaves for easy aim and the stems are curled in a creeping yet deadly fashion. Once formed, Maia uses her magic to propel the Lance at any specific target.
- Crystal Earth Flash- In most dire situations, Wisteria will summon her energy and make contact with the ground in order to create movement. The ground will rumble, jeering off any enemies, and will crack as if the mirror were to fall on the ground. In each crack, vines shoot up from the ground and entangle the enemy. However, if Sailor Maia is weakened, the vines will free the victim from its grasp.
Weapons or Magical Items:
- Henshin Pen- As with many senshi, this item is used when Wisteria wishes to transform to Sailor Maia. She simply raises her pen in the air and shouts, "Maia Star Power, Make-up!".
- Amulet of Maia- With this item, Wisteria can use this in circumstances to help locate others or to gather information on enemies. The amulet allows her to communicate with Nature’s essence in order to figure out something that occurred previously.
Guardian: Artemis- Seemingly a normal tan cat with green eyes, Artemis is quite the mysterious one, especially with his/her’s crescent marking. As the protector the Pleiades Senshi, he/she is keenly aware of their role but is unwilling to reveal everything just yet. This makes Wisteria somewhat weary around the cat but still allows Artemis around in hopes of discovering the truth. RP Sample:Wisteria tended to her garden, shovel in one hand and water bucket in the other. The garden was getting a bit dull, her vegetables seemed droopier than usual. Normally they’d be in full bloom, but ever since that cat appeared to her in the park she’d become much more restless.She dug the shovel in the ground with force as the thought raged on. What was it about those premonitions that made her so...nostalgic. It felt comforting somewhat, the images of that unknown planet. Perhaps, she could someday visit and get a true to life view of it.She chuckled at her childish thought, ah how she wished she could daydream, but her garden is need of her care. She pressed into the soil and lifted a moist patch of it. “It’s fertile!”, she said to herself, “Well, I guess now is the perfect time to grow something new.”

| Hi! I deeply apologize for taking so long to review this profile! My eyes must have passed over it whenever you put it as ready for review. Sorry about that! Anyway, I just want to say that this profile is fantastic. Your ideas are amazing and I love the history behind this character. I was definitely surprised when I read about Wisteria being adopted, and I love how you added that! I can tell you took a lot of time when thinking about this character, and you expressed that very well! I'm very excited to see her in our roleplaying section! I just have a few things for you to add  Personality: You said in the History section that Wisteria wanted to start her own art gallery - does that mean she is artistic?
