| [Relaxed] Silver Discordia - Storyline:
Before the great Silver Millennium Era came into being, Queen Serenity was just Serenity,a refugee from far away who carried a shining silver power within her. She settled on the Moon and established a home for herself, but the Solar System around her was less than welcoming to her idea of a unified group. At first, she was completely ignored. The inner planets were in political and social disarray with each other, barely managing to keep from an all out war.
Mercury is strict and organized to the last letter, focused on it's own booming technology behind solid metal doors underneath their planet's icy exterior. Venus is a fallen paradise, a crime ridden, war torn desert with the occasional oasis for the rich and powerful to shelter in. Mars is a closed off, disciplined planet ruled by military lords and advised by their spiritual monks and priestesses. And Jupiter is a raging empire bent on constant expansion through intimidation and force. Earth is still too primitive to even realize that life existed beyond its own atmosphere. The Outer planets are considered almost mythical, so far out and silent that they don't seem to exist.
But beyond the interplanetary tensions, there is communication and trade. The average citizens go about their business as well as they can, oblivious to the changes that are about to occur. The Solar System has been and will always be in a chaotic state. Until now...
In this RP, everyone will play as an Otaku character. The senshi of the planets do exist, but they are of an earlier generation and do not work together. Your character, from either Mercury, Mars, Venus, or Jupiter, has left their home for personal reasons, and now roams between planets, a drifter in space. Maybe they're a criminal, a loner, a trader, a tool for hire, or just curious, but the are no longer living their old life and have struck out for a new one.
The RP begins when everyone meets up on a coincidence, and decides to travel together as a loose group. As they jump from adventure to adventure, they start to bond, and will eventually end their journey on the Moon, where they will use their unique point of view to help Serenity create the foundations of the Silver Millennium.

Non-Canon Characters: Freyja Asynja- Sailor Mercury
Chares Katsaros- JupiterThunderCrash - So far, in {This Roleplay}:
After stealing a very important program from her home city, Freyja stows away on a cargo ship waiting to leave Mercury. When it starts heading to Mars, the ship's captain, Chares, discovers her in his closet. After questioning her, he allows her to stay with him for the duration of the trip. Trapped together for the rest of the day, they start to warm up to each other after Chares feeds her and Freyja fixes his ship's computer. He parks at a rest stop for the night, though it isn't a very safe one and he becomes paranoid that Freyja could be injured or taken advantage of. Whens he tries to leave him there, he insists that he take her all the way to Mars. She accepts the offer gratefully, and they both leave the garage he parked in to go shopping.
At the same time, Amara, a ruthless space pirate, chooses that exact same rest stop to rob for supplies. She lands her ship and threatens the local guards to give her what she needs.
- Things to Know:
This RP will only have 4 playable characters, because it will be very character interaction based. The only other slot that might open up is Queen Serenity towards the end.And since you will need some Silver Millennium age info to make your character, I will provide descriptions for life on each inhabited planet. If you have questions about naming and clothing or your character's background, you can ask here in the OOC thread.- Planet Information:
- Mercury:
The people of Mercury are the smallest of the four main groups, their average height never exceeding 5'5", or 164 cm. They tend to have paler skin and eyes that are either blue, grey, or something close to black. Their hair color can range from shades of blue to shades of grey or white. They seem to have an innate ability to grasp knowledge and understand it at an accelerated rate, making them fast and efficient learners. While many have a sort of spiritual connection to water and ice, only some have the gift to manipulate it, though Sailor Mercury is still considered the most powerful person with the skill.
Mercurian, or Hermian society, thrives on a system of underground tunnels dug beneath the planet's surface at the time of their shift between being roaming hunters and being sedentary farmers. Their network is massive, and connects between multiple "pits" where cities have been built in man-made caverns. Despite being surrounded by stone and still going out to stalk prey in the harsh environment above them, they are technologically advanced. Power is generated by water flows, and electricity and computerized systems are merged with the rocks, ice, and metal their buildings are constructed from. The tunnels are inter-spaced with huge metal gates that are operated by guard stations for safety purposes, the thickest gates leading to outside. When outside the tunnels, thick coats and full face masks with breathing tanks are work.
Each city is ruled by a council of prominent members from each one, who strictly control the organization of jobs, distribution of resources, and scientific growth and relations outside of the planet. As their survival is dependent on others following rules and guidelines, the council is extremely strict on rule breakers. Stealing classified information is considered a dire crime.
- Venus:
The people of Venus are slightly shorter and stockier than the people of Earth, but are very acrobatic, and considered very conventionally attractive. Most have shades of blonde as their hair color and blue eyes, but migrations and travel between planets has diversified them to a degree. The occasion brunette and red head also appear, along with green, silver, and brown eyes. Venusians have very sharp hand eye coordination, making them excellent at close and long range combat. They're also stereotyped as the rouges of the solar system, as many raiders, thieves, and other criminals often come from Venus to plague other planets. They're cunning and able to think on their feet, and with their silver tongues and looks, they can manipulate others. Some even journey to Earth to harass the weaker people, gaining their trust, and then burning and pillaging their defenseless towns. These ruthless space pirates are sometimes called Morning-stars, or fallen angels.
Venus is mostly a rocky desert wasteland, with empty mountain ranges and a few small oasis that are all that's left of structured society from hundreds of years ago. The once plentiful gem and metal mines are almost emptied, and water is scarce. The people band together in factions for strength and protection, clashing in the desert over the few valuable pieces of land still around. This constant civil warring has spurred a military boom, and Venus is the home of the first gun, a laser based firearm. The two most popular weapons after that are swords and chains.
The royal family of Venus is situated in an isolated, well protected castle, but even they can only control their restless people so much. Most towns are ruled by he rich and guarded by private armies, while the poor are left on the streets until they can find a job, legal or not. Policing is poor, so most crimes will go unpunished if the local leader doesn't care enough to pursue it.
- Mars:
The people of Mars are considered elegant and willowy, usually with dark hair that ranges from jet black to a deep red color. An occasional blonde pops up as well. Their eyes are either black, brown, red, or purple. Martians are tightly bound by their ancient traditions and stories, giving them a sort of discipline that keeps a relative peace among them. They are also very spiritual, believing in ghosts and reading flames, and it is not uncommon for some to claim to see the future, sense evil, or call on the flames to do their bidding. Soldiers prefer curved long swords and bows to use.
Mars is cut into provinces that are ruled by a military captain, and they take orders form a high ranking shogun-like figure. The royal family of Mars speaks with them, and then orders are carried out. The military rulers also take advice from the many shrines and temples that dot the land, run by monks and priestesses. Provinces contain a number of villages usually situated on mountains above plains of red sand. They all follow a code of honor that keeps relations civil and polite, though corruption can seep through the ranks. Mars spends most of its time keeping up the status quo, and crime is only addressed if it upsets that balance.
- Jupiter:
The people of Jupiter are the tallest of the four groups, the average height being between 5'9" (175 cm) and somewhere over 6 feet (182 cm). They are physically stronger and heavier as well, due to their stronger gravity at home. Many have an affinity for plants, and a few lucky ones can summon sparks and bolts of electricity. Hair color can be brown, blonde, green, or a shade of red, and eyes are either brown, green, or blue.
Most live in forest based villages and stone and wooden forts and cities, The royal family, containing the Empress, lives in a stone castle surrounded by vines and growth. She controls the massive army created from the large native population. They fight with spears, hammers, axes, short swords, and shields, using tight formations to form an offensive and defensive wall.
They aren't naturally violent, but Jovian culture is saturated with the concepts of courage and protection, and they can be whipped into a terrifying frenzy for battle if pushed the right way. At the moment, expansion is the buzzword, and most people have taken in the Empire's propaganda and support the effort. Outside of that, they're fairly relaxed as a society, and could even be considered as friendly if they weren't currently pushing into Martian territory. They have a blunt way of stating and going about things, and trickery isn't their usual tactic.
