General Information

Last year, I came up with an idea for a fun, silly Holiday awards ceremony. With some help from Small Lady and Sailor Mercury, the first ever Holiday Cheer Award Ceremony was held! It had a lot of participants and was a lot of fun, so I decided to bring it back again this year! So, welcome to the Holiday Cheer Awards!!!

These awards are some what similar to the GC Anniversary awards, however they're meant to be festive and somewhat silly! That being said, please do put some thought in to your nominations and votes. Though this is meant to be fun and silly, it is still a serious award ^^ This is NOT a popularity contest, so anyone no matter which rank or how long they've been around can win! Not just Admins/Moderators ^^

The nominations for these awards will start today and be open until the 13th at 11:59 PM EST. On the 14th I will look at all of the nominations and narrow it down to the top people nominated for each category. I will then post a new form that you guys will be able to vote on!

Rules

I've decided to add in just a couple of rules this year, to try and allow a wider variety of people to win!

1. Take some time to think about who you would like to nominate/vote for. Nobody wants an award where someone just filled in their name just because.

2. When filling out your nominations, please only use the same person twice. For example, you can nominate Diana for Holly Jolliest Member and Santa's Helper, but after that you can't nominate me for any of the other categories. This will help more people be able to win an award, and will also make you stop and have to think about each award and who is the best person for it ^^

3. You do NOT have to fill in every single award. I ask that you take the time to try to think of someone for it, but if you can't, you can just skip it!

4. Once nominations close, I will make a new form for you guys to vote on. The top people nominated will be available to vote for. However, if there's a clear winner that category will be deemed an automatic win. Example: PurpleDino has 6 nomination votes, YellowOctopus has 5 nomination votes, and all other people nomination have 2 or less. PurpleDino and YellowOctopus would be put on the voting sheet, as they were so close together. But let's say PurpleDino had 10 nomination votes and everyone else has 4 or less, then PurpleDino would be deemed the automatic winner due to be so far ahead of everyone!

5. Have fun! These awards are all in good fun, so have a blast thinking of who to nominate and eventually vote for, and don't take it too seriously if you get nominated for an award that isn't considered the most 'nicest' of awards (I'm looking at you Scrooge Medalist)

We've also included an optional, second page for you guys to participate in! During the Anniversary event this year, the RP staff held nominations and voting for special fill in, customized awards for all the RP staff. Not wanting to take away from their moment and awesomeness, I decided that it'd be fun to have the non RP staff ones during Festibration! You'll notice when you go to nominate people for the Holiday Cheer Awards, there will be a next page. On that page under each Inner Admin and Silver Crystal Moderator's name, you can write a custom award for them. This award is just something that if that person was able to have an award made specifically for them, it'd be what you write in the box. For example, Sailor Pluto's custom award was: Admin Who Gets So Much Done She May Actually Have Access to a Time Key. It's just meant to be silly and fun, yet true! These are completely optional and you can turn in the form without writing anything down for these sections, but if you want to participate then feel free!
