So I ended up finding a collection of saben moon cells that someone owns and posted online. You can find them here. And while looking at them, I really got a clear-ish view of what they were supposed to look like. I decided to re-create them in the dollmaker

While I would have loved not really to make their fuku collars wide and huge with two layers of heavy color to them, the dollmaker simply didn't have that ability. Thank goodness.


You know, when you look at them as they are sailor moon style, they don't look that bad! Maybe they could be used for an AU or something.

Omg awesome find! I have seen some cels but omg. XD I love your interpretation of them! I'm still in the very minority that this could have been a neat tv series (the live action scenes need to go). I only wish the pilot was released!

My latest Otaku Senshi, Black Moon Lilith! (She doesn't like being referred to as "Sailor Black Moon Lilith" xP) I'm thinking her starseed was originally intended for evil purposes, but the host's purity battled with the impurity of the starseed and won. Thus creating the kind of creepy senshi of "Phantom Moonlight".

I made one of the early sailor moon models as seen in one of Naoko's artworks. (I couldn't make the weird boomerang thing on her fuku, however, without it looking really awkward.)

 
I did a whole bunch of Sailor based off Michael Jackson eras. I might have been bored at the time so....

I decided to redesign the super senshi! I always thought that the super forms of the other senshi aside from moon and chibi moon were lack-luster, so I altered them to look a bit more like theirs.

Ahh, I have no clue.  I re-purposed Sailor Star to be Chibiusa's reincarnation in some AU but mostly, these were done for a lark, I guess.
