| Prairie Oysters, also called Rocky Mountain Oysters are a delicacy out in Western Canada. They look delicious don't they? Can you guess what they are made of? Any idea yet? Got an answer in your mind? Prairie Oysters are made from bull, pig or sheep testicles. Delicious isn't it? Hey, don't knock it 'till you try it |

| I'D TRY IT. We are used to eating odd things down here. THEY SELL THINGS LIKE PICKLED PIGS FEET AT THE STORE HERE. Also turkey necks are delicious. |

| I would've thought they were just fried oysters. Guess they must have a similar.... texture.... to them. xD |

| Well, that's certainly something to add to the "what I learned today" list. (I can't stop laughing.)
And I agree with Starchild, I could have sworn they were chicken tenders. |

| Although a little tough in texture, prairie oysters are pretty good. They have a slightly gamey taste. When cooking them though you have to make sure you take off the outer membrane. If you have the opportunity to try them I say go for it! |

| i have always known what rocky mountain oysters are, so it was easy to deduct praire oysters...XD
my brother in law said he tried camel testicles while he was with the marines. he didn't like em. XD
iiiii....might try testicles, but i think i'd rather prefer mine pan fried instead of deep fried. or in a soup, like from Bizarre Foods in Nicaragua. that looked rather tasty. |

It's basically the western version of oyster lol because they look like them all fried up and you can't exactly get fresh oysters. |
