Name of the Storyline:  Listen to Your Heart
Forum: Tokyo City
Plot Summary:  Usagi's life has been happy ever since Galaxia was defeated, and she has thoroughly enjoyed her normal life with her boyfriend and her best friends, and spending time with her daughter from the future. She looks forward to graduating, getting married and founding Crystal Tokyo, spreading peace over the world. However her life is turned on its head when a girl appears from the sky, claiming to be her daughter with Seiya from another future! And has the pictures and powers to prove it. She's at risk of being wiped out, and has come to the past try and convince Usagi to choose Seiya instead of Mamoru so she won't fade out of existence. But if she chooses Seiya, Chibiusa will fade out of existence.

Now Usagi and company all have to cope with the implications of this newcomer. Mamoru must come to terms with the idea of his one true love being with another man, though he wishes only for her happiness. The girls are unsure of which choice would be better, as it seems this new girls world is just as happy and peaceful as Chibiusa's future. Seiya is of course alerted to this strange new development, and he comes back to Earth, having to deal with his feelings about this proof that he could be good enough for Usagi. And Chibiusa does not like this new girl who is so similar yet so different from her who seems to be threatening her future as the sole princess of Crystal Tokyo.

As Usagi gets to know her new daughter better over time, her choice of which man to pick becomes more difficult. How will she ever decide which family to have, as she teeters between making her own destiny and following fate's design. But eventually, she must make a choice.

Details on any necessary information:  Usagi, Mamoru, Seiya, Chibiusa and New Daughter are a must. Inner senshi are allowed, but if they don't have players, they'll be free for NPCing. Person who plays the new daughter has free reign on design and details of this new future with Seiya.

Restrictions: No otaku except the new daughter, and outer senshi are not needed.

I love the angst so much <3 I will take Seiya! So, just curious, what are your ideas for the new girl's life? Like, where does she come from, etc.? Or is that for you to know and us to find out?

hmm...well to be honest, i'm stuck on what to choose...either Usagi and Seiya become the rulers of Earth while Mamoru steps aside, or rules Elysion, or they become the rulers of the Moon and Mamoru just rules the Earth by himself.

i just feel like i always do the "they rule the moon!" thing. but i can't think of a reason Mamoru would give up his claim as earth royalty. unless he only did it to stay by Usagi's side...

but newgirl definitely grew up in a Crystal Palace very very similar to Chibiusa's!

Thinking of Mamoru all alone makes me sad  But the angst is so beautifullll

This sounds intriguing. My own personal favorite ending would be for a Mamoru-Usagi-Seiya poly triangle so both future daughters can live.

I'm very tempted to claim Usagi because of how terrible this storyline is xD

i rather wanted it to end with Usagi having to choose one or the other, to follow canon ya know? cause remember, members of the royal moon family can only have one child. and even if Seiya had a second daughter, it still wouldn't be the one who shows up, but entirely new third child. kind of messed up..XD

to be honest, i had thought of leaving the choice literally up to the player who picks Usagi...though i rather hope they'll keep secret what ending they'll pick so we can all keep to the maximum angst, and hey, surprises!

oh goooood, what's WRONG with me, coming up with an idea that HAS no really good ending?!*faceplants*

.....unless there's a jerk move where it turns out daughter went to the wrong past, and her mother still chose Seiya in her reality, so she and Chibiusa do still both exist and all the angst was for nothing. possibility! what do you guys think of that ending? or is the angst more preferable?

I think maybe we could make that a surprise twist in the end xD Since Usagi's theme is refusing limits imposed on her and working miracles to have it all.

Personally I just think she won't give up until she finds a way to save them both and that it will destroy her if she has to choose to "kill" one daughter. The way I see it, she'd live the rest of her life with that guilt and probably never be happy again, so it would be nice if we can come up with some hopeful way of achieving a good ending.

But I do still want the angst

Pluto shows up just as Lyra(i made up the profile, whoohoo!) is telling Usagi she has to choose NOW or else she'll just disappear, and explains "Lyra you derp, you're in the wrong timeline. your mom already chose your dad again, and you're still going to exist, now go home!" mwahahahaha. XD

Best anticlimactic ending ever. Everyone will be like, "Wow, Pluto, thanks for waiting until the last minute to tell us and putting us through all that" xD

mwahahaha. well at least it seems to fit the evil theme of the story!

I'm in for Chibiusa!!! I got her on the Myers-Briggs chart but there haven't been any RPs I've wanted to join with her in them, so it'll give me a reason to make a profile. Also, she'll be a nice change of pace from the more reserved Hotaru & Mamoru. I can do sass!!



EDIT: Also, since Mamoru is bi or bi-curious in my head canon, it would add even more complicated emotions if he and Seiya had some weird stress-born, romantic-ish thing going as they all struggle through how to proceed.

ahhh...i'mma have to ixnay on the seiya/mamoru romance. don't get me wrong, i love the concept, just not for this roleplay.

but you are more than welcome to take Chibiusa! so now we just need a mamoru, or if you guys want to start and just NPC him until he's taken, we can!

i usually tend to mix anime and manga. i'm one of those people who honestly loves the anime part where the starlights can physically turn male, but for most everything else, i prefer the manga.

though it doesn't really entirely matter for the roleplay does it?

Yeah, I haven't read the manga yet so I think I'm going to go strictly anime canon. So Seiya will be a boy unless transformed

totally fine.^^ in the manga, Seiya is always female who just dresses like a boy.
