[9:08:27 AM] Kyralih: Good Morning everyone! The next live-episode of The View will be starting momentarily! I'd like to remind players that all of the GC RPG rules are in effect for this rp, and that, as mentioned in the sign-up thread, as most of today's rp will be primarily conversation, keeping true to canon personalities (as close as you can get anyway!) is expected. 
As Queen Beryl has been around for the longest in the Cauldron, she is seen as the lead host, and she opens up the show and is the last to say goodbye! Today, Queen Beryl is played by Addelyn; Aluminum Seiren by Mercury, Lead Crow by Uranus, Galaxia by Cosmos-hime, Theia (Guest Host) by JupiterThunderCrash, and Hawke's Eye (in the audience)(who can step up as the performer if he wishes) played by Eternal Knight! Let's keep all OOC talk in the Activity Boost skype chat for today!
[9:10:56 AM] Kyralih: _The set has one large oval table set for 5 on one end, decorated appropriately for the hostesses, where most of the talk-show part of the show happens. There is then a large couch-like area to the side and a clear stage set up for the guest performer part of the show. The Audience is seated and cheering. The Show is about to go Live!


[9:14:11 AM | Edited 9:15:00 AM] Kyralih: Lead Crow stepped on stage amidst the cheers of the crowd, a folder of notes in hand, and completely ignored the audience as she made her way to her seat towards the left side of the table. Placing her notes down first and snapping for coffee from an intern, she took a seat, removed her whip from it's holder on the small of her back, and placed that beside her folder. The crowd cheered even more, she, again, refused to look at them. 
She wasn't on until the show officially started, and she was going to keep it that way.


[9:18:49 AM | Edited 9:19:18 AM] ☼Mercury: Aluminum Siren walked on set, munching on a bag of chips. She waved cheerfully to the audience, then when she saw Crow already seated, she practically bounced toward the table. "Crow-san! Isn't this super exciting?? We're going to be on TV! You know, we keep giving our name cards from Ginga TV to everyone but we never actually produce TV and it's just really disappointing." She plopped down beside Crow. "But now we're actually going to be doing what we say we've been doing! Yay! Want a chip?" she offered one to her friend.


[9:25:41 AM] Kyralih: Crow bit her lip and stared blankly towards the cameras as Siren bounced over, bubbling with excitement; it was almost like some twist of fate that they ended up in the TV business after their defeat, but a daytime talkshow of all things? Siren was far too excited. The only joy she got out of it was that Galaxia was now their equal as opposed to their boss. ... and Siren seemed to like it so she supposed there was that. That didn't mean she had wanted to be dragged into this, too, though.

She shook her head at the offer of a chip, "No, thanks. Do you want some coffee?" Not that she really needed it .


[9:29:31 AM] JupiterThunderCrash: Theia walked on stage after Siren and Crow, hesitantly at first. The spotlights seemed to make her skin look even paler than usual. This was her first time sitting in front of a camera or even being in a talk show, and she was determined to not mess it up. It was all so new and interesting.... 

She had decided to wear her Queen attire, a silver tunic dress with ceremonial cracked golden chest plate and shoulder armor. A bronze brooch that acted as a locket was attached to her chest piece as well, containing her source of power. As soon as she spotted the studio audience, she had to hold back an excited giggle and focus on getting to the couch in one piece. She sat down across from Siren and Crow, trying not to look too antsy, and adjusted her tiara.

And then she spotted the Earth food. "Ah, so we were allowed to take the food off the table in the back? I should have tried that..."


[9:32:35 AM] ☼Mercury: Siren scrunched up her nose. "Does it have a lot of sugar?" she asked, then inspected the coffee carefully. Their guest host walked in before she could taste it--and probably the better, for she most certainly did not need more energy--and Siren beamed at her question. "YES! They provide us with free food! Isn't that great? Here, have a chip! They have tons of delicious stuff here on Earth that you just have to try!"


[9:36:44 AM] Kyralih: The narrator's voice boomed across the stage Welcome to The View! With your hosts, Queen Beryl, as each hostesses name was said, all screens in the room showed each woman's face and a snippet of her in evil action, Sailor Galaxia, Sailor Aluminum Siren, Sailor Lead Crow and today, serving as Guest Host, Sailor Theia! The narration wasn't over yet, the names announced slowly to make time for footage of attacks, but it was clear the show was going to start soon.

[9:39:20 AM] JupiterThunderCrash: Theia blinked in surprise at Siren's offer and then hesitantly took a chip to try. But was it really good? She never really had a need to eat anything before...Well it was important to try new things, right? She tossed the chip in her mouth and chewed it, her expression changing from thoughtful to one of bliss.

 "It's so good!" she said, her words slightly muffled. Why hadn't she tried food earlier?


[9:41:59 AM] Kyralih: Crow put her fingers to her forehead in an oh great, another one fashion, while at the same time holding out her hand to try one of these "chips" Siren had offered earlier.


[9:43:09 AM] ☼Mercury: "Ooooh! Crow-san! Look how cool we are!" Siren pointed to the footage playing on the screens. She was momentarily distracted by Theia's comment and did a double take. Did she just...? Siren was so used to having Crow brush off all her food, but now... suddenly... there was this other person who understood the importance of delicacies. A person who appreciated the finer things in life. She almost legitimately teared up and hugged Theia right then and there, but she knew that was not polite so decided to stick to her manners. "Please have more!" she urged, then grabbed a few to put in Crow's hand when her friend finally asked for some, too. Siren grinned. She knew Crow couldn't resist for long, especially now that there were two of them. She never did.


[9:43:42 AM | Edited 9:44:33 AM] Addy: "Ladies," Queen Beryl said in greeting. She was running a bit later than normal this morning, it took time to look this good after all, not that she would mention that to anyone. 

"Is everyone ready to begin shortly?"


[9:45:08 AM] JupiterThunderCrash: "Thanks!" Theia took a handful of chips into her mouth just as Beryl walked towards them. Realizing that talking with her mouth full wouldn't end well, she nodded enthusiastically.


[9:48:00 AM] Kyralih: Crow glanced up at the monitors, the chip still in her hand, and watched as a particularly powerful Galactica Tsunami raced towards the screen, Siren's blue eyes steely and dangerous behind it. She half-smiled in appreciation and tried the chip -- it was so salty! Who would eat something that salty in the morning?! 

Crow looked to Beryl as the woman entered and took her seat in the middle of the table and put the remainder of the chip down on the table, pointed at it, and as an intern rushed up to brush it away she smirked, noticing Sailor Galaxia was not on time that morning. She nodded to Beryl's question.


[9:49:00 AM] Kyralih: On today's show, the View will be talking about beauty routines, fashion, relationships, and stress management. Later on, a surprise performer will be joining them on stage to talk about her new album!


[9:49:57 AM] Kyralih: Youma Ladies and Gentlemen, we present, THE VIEW theme music plays as an introduction, cued to stop as soon as Beryl opened the show


[9:54:18 AM] Addy: "Welcome to the view where we discuss latest trends in fashion or beauty and how to manage your stress," Beryl said, looking into the Camera, "We have with us today a special guest. A relatively new villain on the field,  she has recently woken up from a thousand year nap in the Galaxy Cauldron. Her work ethic is to be admired; going right after Sailor Moon and has a brilliant plan in place, and her outfit is simply to die for! Please help me welcome Sailor Thea!"


[9:56:44 AM] Kyralih: Crow straightened up and took a long sip of coffee as she leaned in, her elbows on the table - and then off the table as that was bad manners - and listened closely for Theia's response, questions brewing in her mind as the audience went crazy in welcoming her.


[9:58:05 AM] ☼Mercury: Siren immediately put her chips aside and sat properly as the show began. She had been taught manners by her mother and she never forgot that (don't think she did not see that, Crow!). Plus they were going to be on live TV! So exciting! She beamed as her new best friend (yes, she had just decided this) was introduced - she must ask all the questions about her favorite food later! - and clapped along with the audience.


[10:00:04 AM] JupiterThunderCrash: Theia swallowed hard and smiled at the crowd, blushing slightly. "Thank you so much for having me here! This is far more fun than watching Earth from a distance." Why were her Phantom senshi so adamant that she not leave her ship? There were so many great things here!


[10:02:51 AM] Addy: "Thanks for joining us today. Why don't you tell us a little about yourself? How did you know you were a villain upon waking from the Galaxy Cauldron and why you chose to go after Sailor Moon?" Beryl nearly glowered at Crow then she saw the other woman's elbows on the table. Perhaps she needed to teach proper manners.


[10:06:29 AM] Kyralih: She hadn't backed off soon enough and her faintly interested expression took on an annoyed edge - her elbows had been on the table for less than ten seconds and she had gotten a dirty look for it? Beryl might be lead host but she wasn't in charge of her, the execs were. She considered sticking her elbows on the table for longer, just to spite her, but if Siren's mother was watching she's disappoint the older woman, so instead she just crossed her arms and glowered right back and Beryl.


[10:08:08 AM] JupiterThunderCrash: "Hmmm...." Theia scratched her cheek as she thought. "At first, I was just really confused. I had sat in the Galaxy Cauldron for so long that I had forgotten nearly everything. I just knew my name and that I had a place somewhere I needed to be." She sighed, remembering the time she had wandered the galaxy looking for answers. "But then a kind stranger told me what I was and that my planet was destroyed, and what purpose did I have with no planet of my own?" Her expression turned serious.

 "And that's when I went to Earth and found the ones who took my crystal after I died. And they weren't even using it to its full potential! I just had to get it back from them."


[10:11:30 AM] ☼Mercury: Siren, completely oblivious to the glaring battle going on around her, focused on Theia and her story instead. It was so sad! Her planet was destroyed! Just like... just like Siren's. Galaxia had been responsible for that... she wondered if Galaxia was the one who destroyed Theia's planet too? She leaned forward in interest. "So what happened? Did you get back your crystal?" Did she mean star seed? How was she living without one? She didn't seem to wear Galaxia's bracelets.


[10:12:38 AM] Addy: Did that little trite think she could challenge her? Ruler of the Dark Kingdom? It was time for a reminder it seemed. 

Listening to her story Beryl decided that mentioning she had been after that crystal herself would be in poor taste. Instead she flipped her attention elsewhere.


[10:16:59 AM] JupiterThunderCrash: "I only had a few shards of it to keep me alive, but it gave me enough power to create some friends of my own to assist me," Thiea said. Combining her healing abilities with the power of the solar system planets to form life was difficult, but still possible for her. What would she do without her loyal senshi? She couldn't imagine being that lonely again. "They're trying their best to get the rest of my crystal back, but those Sailor Senshi are so persistent and stubborn. It's like they don't listen to reason..." She snorted in frustration propped her head up on one of her hands, pouting a little. "And I asked nicely first too! How rude of them...."


[10:19:13 AM] Kyralih: "Nice never works," Crow commented, breaking her stare with Beryl to turn her attention to Theia for emphasis.


[10:19:49 AM] Addy: "I'm sure you'll fulfill your goals soon enough. Now Siren dear, what do you have for us today?"


[10:19:50 AM] ☼Mercury: "I know, right?" Siren nodded in understanding. "All I needed to please Galaxia was one true star seed. One and they refuse to give it to me." Nightmares about her death still haunted Siren sometimes, and she instinctively clung closer to Crow.


[10:21:06 AM] ☼Mercury: She turned to Beryl in surprise when she suddenly turned her attention to her. "Oh! Me? I don't... I don't know? What should I share?" She felt suddenly nervous about being put on the spot.


[10:22:59 AM] Addy: "Your segment," Beryl said dryly.


[10:26:04 AM] Kyralih: Crow knew exactly why Siren moved closer, but on live-television she didn't make the first move to support her. Instead she glared at Galaxia's empty chair, trying not to remember the details of what Galaxia had done to Siren; how Siren had pleaded with her, how no matter what Crow did, she couldn't help her. How she just vanished, leaving only glittering light behind. How she had found herself utterly alone. She stiffened her jaw, forcing back the warm feeling behind her eyes. 

Aaaand then she put her fingers to her forehead for Siren's blunder and prompted, "Didn't you want to talk about stress management?" She could have sworn it had been jest at the time - Siren never seemed to be stressed. About anything. Annoyingly so.


[10:28:45 AM] ☼Mercury: "Oooh! Right!" Siren looked frantically for her notebook, but realized she must have put it down somewhere to pick up the bag of chips. But... the bag of chips could also serve as her note, really, because... "Well! I only have one answer to stress. FOOD! Working under, ahem... certain bosses can be stressful. Looking for a needle in a haystack can be stressful, which was what we were doing before. But I find comfort in food and all the great delicacies this planet has to offer. They even have the term comfort food here, and for good reason! Food is your number one stress relief!" she finished her speech with a flourish. She picked up her bag of chips. "Everyone in the audience can totally get a chip."


[10:32:29 AM] ☼Mercury: She stood up, grinning even wider. "Look under your seats, people! You get a chip, you get a chip, you get a chip, EVERYONE GETS A CHIP! A BAG OF GLORIOUS CHIPS!" The music swelled along with her grand proclamation, then ended abruptly. Siren, not deterred, still grinned and plopped back down to her seat, feeling like she had just done a great service to mankind. Or villain kind.


[10:34:22 AM] Addy: Chips? That's what she was giving out as today's gift? How...cheap and mundane. Beryl couldn't help but wonder if this would ruin their shows reputation, but the audience seemed to be happy with it, so maybe she'd let this one slide.


[10:34:37 AM] Kyralih: When had - Crow watched as the audience did as Siren requested and pulled out a bag of chips from under their seats - How had--? She shook her head. Siren must have gotten here early and taped - or had interns tape - the bags beneath the audience seats. Once again she knew that Siren would serve as her perfect Rival in this talkshow host business; Crow couldn't afford to lay down on the job. 

"I don't know - food doesn't de-stress me at all," Crow commented, wondering if there were a bag of chips beneath their seats, too. She wouldn't put it past her. "There are definitely other ways to de-stress. Theia, what do you do to de-stress after a long day of frustration or disappointment?"


[10:39:54 AM] Eternal Knight: Hawk's Eye was watching with an half interested eyes as Siren explained what she did to de-stress, not really surprised considering she had been eating since coming up on stage. He then frowned as she revealed the house's gifts for the audience - really? - and fumbled Under his seat without much hope. Slightly disconcerted, he actually took it up and tried to open it as subtle as one could wish. Its tearing made a pleadful noise and he cringed. Well that's what they'd get for weird gifts: a lots of noise and bits of chips everywhere. He pushed a chip in his mouth and leaned back, crossing his feet on the chair in front of him.


[10:40:42 AM] JupiterThunderCrash: "I unwind by observing how the people of Earth live with my computer monitor. Just seeing how the planet looks from the moon is very relaxing. All those lights look beautiful from space!" Theia said. She really hoped she didn't have to destroy Earth, it'd be a real shame.


[10:46:09 AM | Edited 10:46:36 AM] Addy: "I myself find destroying minions who do not listen to be particularly relaxing," grinning, she nodded to an intern on the side who allowed a youma to walk out on stage. He looked scared, trembling slightly as he faced her. Holding her hand out, a purple blast of energy hurtled towards the youma, surrounding it with crackling energy. A loud scream could be heard from the creature before it disintegrated into a small pile of ash.


[10:48:00 AM] Kyralih: Crow sat up straight, watching the display with wide eyes.


[10:48:36 AM] ☼Mercury: "Theia-san, you should come visit Earth more! I'll take you on a food tour!" she offered. When suddenly a youma walked on stage, Siren looked at him in confusion. He reminded her so much of her in her final moments; confused, scared, and most certainly did not want to be there. As Beryl vaporized him, the flashback became stronger, and Siren closed her eyes, her fists balled up tightly beside her. She could not lose it here, she musn't... But the scream... it reminded her of her last.


[10:50:21 AM] Kyralih: Crow noticed Siren's discomfort as her stomach clenched uncomfortably. Live-TV or no, she reached over and held Siren's wrist comfortingly, reminding her first that she wasn't in danger of being destroyed, her eyes still on the pile of ash that was being quickly swept up by an intern and taken off stage.


[10:51:50 AM] Addy: Beryl sat back happily as she watched Siren and Crow's reactions. It would teach Crow to even think about challenging her.


[10:52:12 AM | Edited 10:56:40 AM] Eternal Knight: Hawk's Eye almost dropped his chips on the ground when the scream filled the room, choking on one he was already eating. He was able to swallow hard and blinked, looking in front of him with a grimace. Well at least that lady knew how to put on a light show.


[10:53:52 AM] JupiterThunderCrash: Theia watched Beryl with less fear and more confusion than the others. How many minions did she have if she could just destroy them on a whim, she wondered.


[10:54:50 AM] Addy: "Crow, did you have anything to add for this segment?" Beryl asked, grinning like the cat who got the canary.


[10:56:41 AM] Kyralih: Crows eyes slid heavily over to Beryl, and she didn't say a word, still holding Siren's bare wrist, understanding now why Beryl had chosen to show that particular stress-relieving skill, and hating her for it. She didn't answer.


[10:56:42 AM] ☼Mercury: Siren, feeling Crow's touch on her bare wrists - no bracelets that could take her life - actually calmed down a little. It was a nice reminder that she was free from Galaxia's whim now. No one could kill her like that anymore, not even Beryl despite what she just demonstrated. She slowly opened her eyes again and attempted to put on a brave smile for the audience.


[10:59:34 AM] Addy: "Well, if you don't have anything to add, how about we move onto the today's question panel! Audience, this is your time to ask us any question you desire."


[11:01:25 AM | Edited 11:01:57 AM] Eternal Knight: Hawk's Eye examined the stage for a moment, looking between all the fancy ladies they had brought us for this particular talk show. He breathed in and was happy his voice was strong enough because no mic for the audience. Nice. "Did you ever think about dressing up as a de-stress solution? Some times a good relooking can help more than food." A glance to the right. "Or killing people." And in a lower voice. "Some of you might be in need of one."


[11:08:27 AM] JupiterThunderCrash: "Dressing up...?" Theia looked down at her own outfit. She only had this dress and her cracked armor, or her senshi outfit. There weren't very many choices, but they had worked for her. But maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to find a new outfit one in a while... "Well this armor is getting a little worn."


[11:11:21 AM] Eternal Knight: "You deserve a better look than one of a baddy in need of retirement. You're pretty, you should make it show."


[11:12:29 AM] ☼Mercury: Siren tried to tune it back into the conversation. "Well, I do have that lovely costume I specifically picked for my disguise as an employee of Ginga TV. It has a furry hat! And sunglasses! And... well I mimicked the style from a movie anyway, it looked fabulous. Right Crow-san?" she nudged Crow, smiling to let her know that Siren was okay now.


[11:14:12 AM] Kyralih: The nudge and light-hearted response cued Crow in, and she released Siren's wrist, turned from Beryl to Siren, and sighed, "You definitely got a lot of looks."


[11:17:50 AM] Addy: "Are you saying I don't look fabulous in this dress?" Beryl said darkly, glaring at the audience member. How dare he imply she didn't always look gorgeous! She should fry him. Reacting to her thoughts, red energy began crackling around her hand. Frying him would teach him a lesson he would never forget.


[11:18:31 AM] Kyralih: Uh-- nervously the announcer's voice interrupts


[11:20:27 AM] ☼Mercury: Siren fidgeted as Beryl seemed to flare up again. She seriously had anger management issues. She should get that looked at.


[11:20:42 AM] Kyralih: That's all the time we have for Today's Show! We hoped you enjoyed the Chips! his words were going at a mile a minute If you or any of your loved ones suffered an explosion or were disintegrated at any time during our program, please be sure to write to the station to receive a "Get out of the Galaxy Cauldron for Free" coupon in the mail.


[11:22:02 AM | Edited 11:22:23 AM] Kyralih: And now, to say goodbye, our Hostesses will be taking part in a Double Dutch Jump Rope Lip Sync battle! The stage side of the set lights up with four nervous interns standing with two jump ropes spread between each set of partners. They started swinging the ropes as music started to play.


[11:22:59 AM] Kyralih: As agreed to in their contract, Crow stood and, glaring at Beryl, walked across the set to the stage and prepared to jump into the swinging ropes.


[11:24:46 AM] JupiterThunderCrash: "Ooooh, is this some kind of game?" Theia asked, standing up after Crow. It looked difficult with all the swinging ropes, but she wanted to try.


[11:27:38 AM] Kyralih: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang starts to play, prompting Crow and Siren to start


[11:28:07 AM | Edited 11:28:30 AM] Eternal Knight: Leans back against his seat, because that is worth all the death threats in the world.


[11:28:14 AM] Addy: Not appreciating the glare, she quickly cast a spell that would cause Crow to trip once she got into the skipping ropes.


[11:28:39 AM] ☼Mercury: Siren had spent so much time learning this. MAKENAI! She was not going to lose. With a determined look, she jumped into the swinging ropes, gracefully moving through the motions while mimicking the lyrics she had also memorized.


[11:31:02 AM] Kyralih: Crow timed it, and jumped into the ropes between spins, facing Siren and playing along with the lip syncing to the song; Siren had forced her to practice, and their routine would win the day for sure ---- until a well-timed blast tripped her and she flew forward into Siren


[11:34:09 AM | Edited 11:34:46 AM] ☼Mercury: Siren had spent countless hours practicing this with Crow. COUNTLESS. After much grumpiness Crow had finally learned to move in sync with her. And just when they were about to claim their well-deserved win, something disastrous happened. Siren saw a blast, Crow suddenly tripped, and fell right into her. She yelped, and despite her best attempt, she could not stay upright. They tumbled together to the ground, Siren hitting her back hard and immediately getting tangled in the ropes. "What...? What happened?!" she demanded, tears practically in her eyes. HER PERFECT CHOREOGRAPHY HAD BEEN SABOTAGED!


[11:36:58 AM] Kyralih: Brushing the hair out of her eyes and untangling herself from Siren, Crow stood and pointed at Beryl, "YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE!" AND THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW! "TORNADO!" she cried, and a vortex of spinning energy ripped across the stage, flinging furniture into the audience and through set walls as it careened towards Beryl.


[11:37:46 AM] Eternal Knight: Totally threw himself on the ground to avoid getting tabled and stays there.


[11:38:54 AM] Addy: "You really don't want to take me on," Beryl seethed, teleporting out of its path. She quickly sent another energy blast, this time at full strength hurtling towards Crow.


[11:41:26 AM] Kyralih: This TV Station is not responsible for any injuries incurred during after-program activities; remember to seek out any coupons when appropriate and we hope to see you again on another taping of The View. _The announcer's voice fades towards the end, apparently as he's running away from the live mic to take cover.


[11:41:53 AM] ☼Mercury: Siren looked at Beryl in confusion when Crow accused her of doing it on purpose, and though she was usually a sweet and kind soul - truly - now she was getting really fed up. She had not done a single not nice thing to Beryl but she kept doing these mean things to Siren! And now she was attacking Crow !! She joined the foray and started attacking Beryl with everything she had.


[11:42:53 AM | Edited 11:43:10 AM] JupiterThunderCrash: Theia jumped to the side as the tornado ripped by, her pigtails blowing back in the blast as she shielded her face. Weren't they just playing a game a few minutes ago? Irritated now, Theia lifted the brooch from her armor and transformed into Sailor Theia.

"Cut that out!" she said. She lifted her hands, and a small ball of bronze colored energy formed. "Theia Planet Impact!" She threw it between Siren, Crow, and Beryl. The ball consumed their attacks, and then suddenly expanded before exploding.


[11:47:42 AM] Kyralih: Crow was grateful for the intervention - without the Ginga TV telephone booths she wasn't quite sure how quickly she could teleport away, but the explosion afterward wasn't entirely smiled upon. She picked herself up off the ground again and, amidst screams from audience members and a destroyed set room, prepares for another round!

The camera youmas are running away in fear, and the rest of the program is simply cut off. Thank you for watching The View!

During the course of the roleplay, it was decided that most youma only attend the show for the inevitable fight at the end of each XD
