Today it was announced that there's going to be a new musical on autumn 2016 in Tokyo in AiiA Theater.

No further news yet, but the Dream Arc is probably a good guess as far as themes go. I hope whoever they find to play the new Moon and Inners will be as good as their predecessors.

Agreed. I know Satomi is considered not the best singer but out of all the myus I've seen so far her Usagi was the best to me. Her and the other inner actress's had presence and really brought out the character's personality on stage. I'll miss them. 

If they are indeed doing a new musical for the Dream arc, I wonder if they'll hire an actress (since so far all of the characters have been played by women) to play Helios instead of using a lighting projection to represent Pegasus.

And as for the actresses, I did like Satomi's Usagi, even if she wasn't a good singer (though to me, that kind of added to her charm, since I don't picture Usagi herself as a very good singer either). I also really liked all the other Inners, especially the actress who played Mako. She was absolutely perfect in my opinion! Although I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

@mangaka-chan They probably will definitely get an actress for Helios. When the original SuperS was done, the musicals were following the original anime a bit closer (obviously its a loose close but you know..) so the musicals would try not to spoil anything that hadn't happened yet in the anime. I believe when SuperS originally came out, Helios had not yet been revealed, nor had the Quartet, which is why we get the Amazon Trio and Zirconia as the main villains (with Nehellenia only making an appearance in the revised version of SuperS at the end). Though I hope they do something interesting visually to show just Pegasus before they reveal Helios...like the animation on background (like they show at the end of the SuperS musicals) or the interesting light show.


NOTHING WILL TOP DOUBLE MOONLIGHT ROMANCE THO I'M SORRY... *coughs* Ahem... Anyway, I would like to see a modern SuperS musical since we didn't get one during Marina's time and we got an alternate origin story for the Quartet via the Dracul musicals (which TBH i think i almost kinda prefer their origins in those musicals but thats another topic).

I'm sure we'll start seeing more promo things as Summer comes around. Guess I need to finally watch Un Nouveau... >.>

I would love to watch this, but first... I must watch the preceding musicals.

YAAAS! *_* this is exciting news! new season 2 (still bothers me that is called season 3...) and a third musical now!

So excited for this myu. I wonder if there will be any press events when I go to Japan. If so I will so go and take all the pics.
