I've read here and there, everything I could get my hands on and I must admit that one question was not able to be answered (or I'm blind). I search for something similar in the question thread and didn't find it so I guess it's okay if I write this (if not, you're welcome to kick my butt and I apologize deeply for the disturbance).

Now to the question: can new members (I was accepted yesterday and made my presentation today) post everywhere normal members can? Example of this being: the 'monthly points' thread, the sign ups for upcoming contests (available for non-guild members of course), the 'discussion and flood' section in the lounge. And also can we already join guilds despite being very very freshly registered? (Also can we also have access to the giveaway or even to the graphics offered for the 4th anniversary?)

I hope my question is clearly stated and not too rambled and I again apologize for any inconvenient.

Yes yes and yes! The only place you can't post is a lotus only board, literally only accessible to lotus members AKA any rank under Lotus won't see it.

Of course you can participate in things silly!!! That's what the site is here for and we encourage you to participate in anything and everything you wish too ^^ new members can see basically everything as older members can except a few boards, such as the Lotus Tower and the Party Planet board. The giveaway and  Anni stuff may be a bit too late though =[ The event ended last Friday, but some things are still finishing up and such, which is why the threads are still available. But anything else you wish to participate in is free game! Can join a club, or sign in for points, or even a guild ^^ just have fun =D I look forward to seeing you all over the boards!!

Thank you both for your answers. It might seem weird to ask, but many forums I once were on forbid newly joined members to post in some places (mostly the flood) or to get points (since it was deemed unfair to the older members). As for the giveaway, I was more talking about the little stamps and ringtones? Again thank you and you will certainly see me all over the place, it's been a while since I've found forums that interesting.

All giveaways/freebies are open to every member unless otherwise specified-and I've never heard of the ladder.
